A stark contrast exists between the judgmental nature of humanity and the perspective of grace.
Formerly, I was excessively critical, readily passing judgment on individuals for various reasons, including women who left their marital homes without explanation, men who divorced their wives without consideration, unmarried mothers, pastors who succumbed to sin, women who chose not to marry, mothers who abandoned their children, and children who did not care for their parents.
My critical eye scrutinized every aspect of everyone's life. However, while still seated in judgment, God turned the tables, placing me in the position of being judged by others.
It was then that He revealed to me the other side of the story. I found myself facing various forms of judgment, including marital, relational, academic, professional, physical, and ministerial criticism. People hastily condemned me without allowing me to explain, seemingly unaware of my true circumstances.
At that point, I remained oblivious to my own judgmental nature. Seeking solace in prayer, I received a pivotal message from God that transformed my mentality.
He instructed me to view humanity through the eyes of grace, considering their struggles, hopelessness, and challenges with a gracious perspective. Consequently, I now urge those who readily judge others to discard their critical attitude and adopt a gracious outlook.
May mercy prevail, and may you receive the grace to perceive situations as God does, interpreting events according to His perspective, in Jesus' name.
