MY MOTHER!
Who sat and watched my infant head,
When sleeping on my cradle bed,
And tears of sweet affection shed?
My Mother.

When pain and sickness made me cry,
Who gazed upon my heavy eye,
And wept for fear that I should die?
My Mother.

Who taught my infant lips to pray,
And love God’s holy book and day.
And walk in Wisdom’s pleasant way?
My Mother.

And can I ever cease to be
Affectionate and kind to thee,
Who was so very kind to me?
My Mother.

MY 16TH PRIESTLY ORDINATION ANNIVERSARY- St. Augustine Parish Lugbe. (17th July, 2020).
Dearest Parishioners, I sincerely want to thank you for your prayerful wishes as I mark my 16th Priestly Ordination Anniversary. All I see in my priesthood today is how unworthy I am as God’s Sacred Minister. An image of the divine to man and an image of man to the divine. I can’t count it as 16 years of “Faithful” service but 16 years of “Graceful” service because it is simply the grace of God. I do not deserve what God has given me but I thank him beyond words because he has not taken it away from me. I will forever bless his name. I appreciate your support and encouragement in my Priestly Ministry. I also thank you for your patience with me. May God’s abiding presence be with you always. And may the blessings of God through the hands of his Priests, bring you fulfillment. Amen! Peace be with you.
