Say: Knowledge is only with God, and I am only a clear warner. Here the difference between the Creator and the created becomes clearly evident. The essence of God and His oneness stand apart, without likeness and without partner. Knowledge belongs purely and exclusively to Him, glory be to Him. And the creation, including the messengers and the angels, stand in their place, in reverent humility before the majestic مقام of divinity: “Say: Knowledge is only with God. I am only a clear warner.” My function is to warn, and my mission is to convey with clarity. As for knowledge, it belongs to the One who alone possesses knowledge, without any partner.
This verse is key for anyone engaged in Da'wah. Your remit is to propagate what is relevant and what will benefit others. As for matters beyond your knowledge, one should never feel the urgency of responding, especially where the matter is beyond your expertise and knowledge. Saying 'Allah knows best' is something we need to feel comfortable saying: If anything, you do. not lose credibility, you only gain credibility, especially before Allah SWT when you are honest and open about the extent of your knowledge and skill.
Al-Mulk (67:26)
