THE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF NIGERIA LUGBE PARISH COVENANT RENEWAL PRAYER GUIDE FOR MONDAY JANUARY 30, 2023.

TOPIC: OH LORD, INTERVENE IN MY HOME

TEXT: "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell[a] in the house of the Lord Forever" (Ps 23:6).

*Read Ps 23:1-6*

REFLECTION
From all we have seen since January 1, it is evident that we are being guided to come closer and enjoy dwelling in the bosom of the Lord this year. It's equally true that there's no better dwelling place spiritually speaking, than to secure a place around Divine table where one could closely interact with and be served in Mercy and Goodness. Such a one is a great Divine representative before even human relatives. When it is so, physical home could be a safe Haven and the joy of the Lord remains great strength to serve God; Church attendance in this situation brings deeper satisfaction; and relating with a brother or sister becomes easier. Our prayer this year should be that God should intervene in our homes as we make Him our real HOME.

PRAYER
Ask God to accommodate you in Him and intervene in your earthly home with harmony and Divine prosperity in Jesus name.

THE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF NIGERIA LUGBE PARISH COVENANT RENEWAL PRAYER GUIDE FOR SATURDAY JANUARY 28, 2023.

TOPIC: WHEN GOD HEARS THE GROANING OF A SUFFERING NATION

TEXT: "And the Lord said: “I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows" (Exo 3:7).

*Read Exo 3:1-10*

REFLECTION
Israel lived in Egypt until the people of Egypt began to oppress them, to fulfill the information originally given to Abraham in Gen 15:13 "Then He said to Abram: “Know certainly that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs, and will serve them, and they will afflict them four hundred years".

God is the creator and owner of the universe. He decides on the fate of human beings. For those who could begin to be afraid now, you should know that God also originally planned the deliverance of His people as it is written: "And also the nation whom they serve I will judge; afterward they shall come out with great possessions" (Gen 15:14).

True, the indigineous people of Nigeria have no foreign land to expect. However, there's a spiritual freedom that could be gained by deciding to believe God's intervention this season. Let us express ourselves in prayer until it matches with the groaning level which God has already heard. By faith, I declare that we shall not continue the status quo. God shall change the situation in our land to give us freedom to Worship Him henceforth.

PRAYER
Oh Lord, hear the cry of the helpless and hopeless masses this season, in Jesus name.

THE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF NIGERIA LUGBE PARISH COVENANT RENEWAL PRAYER GUIDE FOR SUNDAY JANUARY 29, 2023.

TOPIC: DIVINE INTERVENTION IN YOUR CHURCH

TEXT: "And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it" (Mtt 16:18).

*Read Matthew 16:13-19*

REFLECTION
The Lord of the Church has a strong foundation for the Church with a resolve that the counsels, agreement, and decrees of Satanists anywhere they're operating, can never shake the body of Christ.

In Matthew 7:24-27, Christ assures His followers of Special survival at any condition, no matter the forces that might come against us. The word of God and the special revelations we receive in it remains the pillar holding our lives and sustaining us turbulent times.

That Special revelation is what Jesus addressed and referred to on the day God gave it to one of His disciples as we read in our passage today. When the Church insists on Special revelations from God's word, it must be strong enough to face any challenges. Let's insist on God's word this year and God's interventions shall be available on regular basis.

PRAYER
I pray to take you more serious this year by your word, oh Lord. Help me to operate beyond my distractions in Jesus name.

THE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF NIGERIA LUGBE PARISH COVENANT RENEWAL PRAYER GUIDE FOR TUESDAY JANUARY 31, 2023.

TOPIC: "DIVINE EVIDENCE AMONG MY PEOPLE".

TEXT: “that they may believe that the Lord God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has appeared to you” (Exo 4:5).

*Read Exo 4:1-9*

REFLECTION
Staying in the presence of God is always a special time. Many people may have had the privilege to stay in God's presence like you have done in a special way since Sunday January 1, 2023. Today is the last day of the program and we need to congratulate ourselves as we thank God who has been helping us. However, I pray there should be a special evidence to describe you henceforth.
Moses already became sure that it was the God of his fathers who appeared to him, yet he insisted that he should present an evidence to others. Today, your prayers should center around this topic. Can other Church members believe that you have been in God's presence unless you tell them by yourself? Is there any changes your colleagues could spot out when they come closer? Can you personally be spiritually sustained henceforth? Correct answers to these questions are necessary. May the grace of God be with you, Amen.

PRAYER
Lord, I don't need to leave your presence without evidence. Baptize me again oh Lord in Jesus name.

It was explosive tonight. Endeavor not to miss tomorrow's session by 7a.m, see you in church.

THE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF NIGERIA LUGBE PARISH COVENANT RENEWAL PRAYER GUIDE FOR FRIDAY JANUARY 27, 2023.

TOPIC: SEEK TO BE BORN AGAIN

TEXT: "Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” (John 3:3).

*Read John 3:1-16*

REFLECTION
Families hardly release certain rights to non family members. Such non family members might be accommodated temporarily until the right time to explain why they can't get certain rights and privileges.

God's Kingdom is a realm of Divine government and it begins while on Earth. When God is in control of your life, you become entitled to very many things including things not within your reach, because your father and Lord is at the head of all. Graciously, the one and only way to belong to God's Kingdom is through Spirit birth. Another description of this is that you are born from above. He who is above is above all.

PRAYER
I give my life to you oh Lord beginning from today and henceforth. Enable me to live above flesh in Jesus name.

PRAY, PLAN and PREPARE to be in attendance. It'll be explosive 🔥
