PWDI VIBE:
Anointing Without Character*
Beloved, listen: *God can anoint you and still not approve of you.*
*1. The Warning — Matthew 7:22-23*
Jesus said, _“Many will say, ‘Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, cast out demons, perform miracles?’ And I will declare, ‘I never knew you.’”_
They had power. They lacked purity. *Anointing is a gift. Character is a choice.*
*2. The Example — Samson, Judges 16:20*
Samson had supernatural strength — the anointing of a deliverer. But no discipline, no integrity. The Bible says, _“He did not know that the Lord had left him.”_
*Hear me: Anointing will open the door. Only character will keep you in the room.*
*3. God’s Standard — 1 Samuel 16:7*
_“Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”_
God anoints you for assignment, but He promotes you based on integrity.
*Psalm 24:3-4* asks, _“Who may ascend His hill?”_ Answer: _“He who has clean hands and a pure heart.”_ Not just gifted hands — clean hands.
*Charge:*
So I charge you today:
*Don’t just seek power — pursue purity.*
*Don’t just carry oil — walk with the Oil Giver.*
*Luke 16:10* — _“He who is faithful in little is faithful in much.”_
Guard your secret life. Value fruit over gift. *Galatians 5:22-23*: Love, joy, peace, self-control — that’s what sustains the anointing.
Anointing impresses people. Character impacts people. Let’s be men and women of both.
*Prayer:* Lord, give us power _and_ purity, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Memory Hook:* _Gift takes you up. Character keeps you up._
