TACEF's 1st May Covenant Fasting and Prayer & Tuesday 2nd May Prayer Focus: Mercies for Profitable Labour and Prosperous Living
Scripture
Rom 9 v 16 NKJV
"So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy."
Burden
May is here already!
Four months are gone already! We thank the Lord for His light, help and preservation. The Lord has been faithful to us. We celebrate His Lordship and thank Him for all the benefits received. Our God is indeed faithful!
May is a peculiar month dedicated to all workers all over the world. May the Lord cause us to enter into His rest as we mark the Worker's Day. May we receive the mercies of the Lord so we can eat the fruits of our labour and have good rewards for all our works in Jesus' name. Amen.
May is our month of mercy
"Mercy" derives from the medieval Latin "merced or merces", which means "price paid." It has the connotation of forgiveness, benevolence and kindness.
Mercy grants us help for all needs that come our way. It preserves everything that belongs to us and keeps us fit and well all the days of our lives.
This month we trust God for mercies for all that lies ahead of us.
Prayer Focus
1) Celebrate God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort for the abundant mercies He has showered on us as individuals, families, fellowships, church and nation. 2 Cor 1 v 3
2) Pray that you will obtain mercy and find grace to help for all seasons of needs that come your way. Heb 4 v 16
3) Ask for mercy and receive grace to run and not be weary, to walk and not faint. Rom 9 v 16, Isa 40 v 31
