Letter to the Predestined:
Honoring the Most Important Person on Earth
Beloved in Christ,
Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. I write to you, not as a stranger in the faith, but as one appointed by God to remind you of something profoundly important in these last days. You who are the elect, chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, to be obedient to Jesus Christ (1 Peter 1:2)—this message is for you.
The Most Important Person on Earth
There is a Person on earth today who is often ignored, misunderstood, or taken lightly, yet He is the most essential and powerful presence among us. He is the Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Godhead, sent by the Father and the Son to abide with us forever (John 14:16-17).
He is not merely a force or influence; He is God, co-equal and co-eternal with the Father and the Son.
“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”
— 2 Corinthians 3:17
Honoring the Holy Spirit
To dishonor the Holy Spirit is to dishonor God Himself. The Spirit is not optional in your walk; He is your Guide, Teacher, Convicter, and Empowerer.
“Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.”
— Ephesians 4:30
You were not only saved by grace through faith—you were sealed with the Spirit as a mark of God's ownership and calling (Ephesians 1:13-14). Therefore, do not walk as those who are unaware of Him. Let your heart revere Him, and let your steps be directed by Him daily.
Obeying the Holy Spirit
The Spirit does not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak (John 16:13). When He speaks, it is the very will of the Father and Son expressed to you. Therefore, to ignore or resist the Holy Spirit is rebellion against God.
“If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit.”
— Galatians 5:25
