A Greater Than Solomon: Wisdom Sundays (Part 1)
Wisdom isn’t just information—it’s the divine ability to build according to a heavenly pattern. Here are the key takeaways from this week’s message:
➡️ Wisdom as the Interpreter: While David received the blueprints for the Temple by the Spirit, it took Wisdom to interpret those spiritual insights into physical reality. Wisdom bridges the gap between vision and ex*****on.
➡️ God’s wisdom has been revealed in stages. From the Tabernacle of Moses to the Temple of Solomon, the demand for wisdom increased with every new assignment.
➡️ While Solomon built with stone, Jesus is building a superior temple—the Body of Christ. We are the "living stones" of a spiritual house that requires a dimension of wisdom far beyond what Solomon possessed.
➡️ True wisdom (Sophia) operates through two distinct channels:
Sunesis (Perception): The mental "putting together." It is the ability to perceive and interpret how things work (e.g., Joseph interpreting Pharaoh’s dream).
Phronesis (Prudence): Practical or applied wisdom. The ability to implement a solution in a specific situation (e.g., Joseph’s plan to survive the famine).
➡️ From Vision to Market: In the world of enterprise, these two sides of wisdom translate to:
Invention: Creating value
Innovation: Solving a market problem so effectively that people are willing to pay for it.
➡️The Bottom Line: Solomon’s wisdom eventually failed him, but the "Greater than Solomon"—Jesus—cannot fail. This superior, two-sided wisdom is now accessible to you to build your life, your family, and your business.
