Watch To The End, Is There Any Difference Between The Two Parties???
A society cannot truly blame its children while ignoring the actions of its adults.
Yesterday, many people reacted to the video of teenagers dancing and singing behind a masquerade. Some called it a sign of a failed society, while others blamed poor upbringing and lack of guidance. Truly, children at that age are often influenced by what they see around them more than what they can reason by themselves.
But the deeper question is:
Who trained them?
Who encouraged them?
Who celebrated them?
In many cases, some misguided mothers openly gift money to the masquerades and to the children participating in these acts. Some clap, rejoice, record videos, dance around them, and proudly encourage this evil culture publicly. By doing this, they are not only supporting falsehood indirectly — they are actively nurturing it within the next generation.
“And do not cooperate in sin and transgression.” Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:2
How can a mother expect righteous children while she beautifies falsehood before their eyes?
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
«كُلُّكُمْ رَاعٍ وَكُلُّكُمْ مَسْئُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ»
“Every one of you is a shepherd, and every one of you will be questioned about his flock.” Sahih al-Bukhari & Sahih Muslim
Parents are not only responsible for feeding and clothing their children. They are responsible for protecting their Aqeedah, manners, and direction towards Tawheed.
Allah also warns:
“O you who believe! Protect yourselves and your families from a Fire…” Surah At-Tahrim 66:6
At the same time, in the same society where some youths are criticized for following masquerades, there are adults hiding under religion while fighting, mocking, and undermining the call to pristine Tawheed in Ebira Land.
Some youths follow masquerades openly.
Some adults follow desires, pride, tribal sentiments, envy, and blind fanaticism while pretending to defend Islam.
Which one is more dangerous?
A child acting upon ignorance can still be corrected with knowledge and guidance. But an adult who knowingly opposes the truth and discourages people from pure Tawheed may mislead generations.
Allah says:
“And who is more unjust than those who prevent the name of Allah from being mentioned in His mosques and strive toward their destruction?” Surah Al-Baqarah 2:114
And the Prophet ﷺ said:
«مَنْ دَعَا إِلَى ضَلَالَةٍ كَانَ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْإِثْمِ مِثْلُ آثَامِ مَنْ تَبِعَهُ»
“Whoever calls to misguidance will carry sins similar to the sins of those who follow him.”
Sahih Muslim
The painful reality is this:
A society cannot fight cultural misguidance while protecting religious hypocrisy.
Both videos tell one painful story:
A community desperately in need of sincere Tawheed, authentic Sunnah, sound knowledge, and fearless reform.
May Allah guide Ebira Land, rectify our homes, protect our children from shirk and falsehood, and make us supporters of the truth instead of enemies of reform.
