Being a leader or master in either religion or politics does not mean you will know it all. If you want to succeed in your leadership, Carry people Alone. Amos 3:3 teaches us to work together in agreement, so also Proverbs 27:17 teaches us that iron sharpens iron. When there's a share ideas things become smooth. No one knows it all, as such lower and humble yourself your subordinates may bring success to your leadership if you listen and share ideas together.
So also being a leader doesn't mean you will be there for ever ah ah create relationship with your followers.

BECOMING CHRIST'S DISCIPLE.
PHASE ONE: QUIET TIME (Ps.143:8; Mk.1:35).
For one in Christ to be a true disciple of Jesus Christ who has a walking relationship with Him, he or she must develop Christ's culture of spending time with the Father, the Almighty God on a daily basis. This time is often known as the Quiet Time. It is also known as Personal Devotional Time or Appointment With God as ETS would tell us.
This Quiet Time is a period of time that a disciple (Christian) sets aside to commune with God as the Father, at least once in a day so he or she can hear Him speak to him or her as the Father even as a disciple equally communicates back to Him - a two way communication system between God and a disciple. This is done so that a disciple would develop a growing relationship with the Father (God) as he or she continues to experience God in a personal intimate way as a Parent - Child kind of relationship where genuine fellowship is felt.
Jesus Himself set an example for us by observing this important culture during His earthly ministry as in Mark 1:35:"Very early in the morning while it was still dark and Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where He prayed." Jesus would always withdraw to lonely places and pray communing with the Father (Luke 5:16).
How can a disciple observe this quiet time in his or her life time here on earth? A disciple is to take this time as a priority, a moment that must not be compromised nor have other things that compete with it. It is one of the most important times if not the only most important time in a disciple's life here on earth. A disciple's total attention must be alive while observing this quiet time by having an undivided attention as he or she experiences God's presence therein. This time ought to be free from any distractions so one can absolutely focus on God. Any other things in life should be suspended while observing the quiet time. A disciple must not observe this quiet time in a rush.

[8/20, 12:06 AM] +234 913 884 1866: 2 Samuel 23:1
These are the last words of David:
“The inspired utterance of David son of Jesse, the utterance of the man exalted by the Most High,
the man anointed by the God of Jacob, the hero of Israel’s songs:

Among all the saints whose lives are recorded in Holy Scripture, David possesses an experience of the most striking, varied, and instructive character. In his history we meet with trials and temptations that are not found, as a whole, in other saints of ancient times, and as a result he provides us with a shadowy picture of our Lord. David knew the trials of all ranks and conditions of men. Kings have their troubles, and David wore a crown. The peasant has his cares, and David handled a shepherd's crook. The wanderer has many hardships, and David hid in the caves of Engedi. The captain has his difficulties, and David found the sons of Zeruiah too hard for him.

The psalmist also faced trials from his friends; his counselor Ahithophel forsook him: "[He] who ate my bread, has lifted his heel against me."1 His worst foes came from his own household: His children were his greatest affliction. The temptations of poverty and wealth, of honor and reproach, of health and weakness all tried their power upon him. He had temptations from without to disturb his peace and from within to mar his joy. David no sooner escaped from one trial than he fell into another, no sooner emerged from one season of despondency and alarm than he was again brought into the lowest depths and all God's waves and billows rolled over him. This is probably the reason that David's psalms are so universally the delight of experienced Christians. Whatever our frame of mind, whether ecstasy or depression, David has exactly described our emotions. He was an able master of the human heart because he had been tutored in the best of all schools-the school of heartfelt, personal experience.

*PARENTING IS A DIVINE MANDATE*

"Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it." (Prov. 22:6)

Someone says, "Parenting is both rewarding and guilt inducing. It’s rewarding because we love our children and they bring us joy. It’s guilt inducing because we blame ourselves for their shortcomings and misfortunes" Sometimes we ask ‘Where did I go wrong as a parent?’ Having done all, however, we must admit this, that there is no perfect parent anywhere, and there is no universal blueprint or template for parenting skills, because every child is born unique.

According to Bible, all our children were born in sin and iniquity: "Behold, I was brought forth in evil, and in sin did my mother conceive me." (Psalm 51:5). God gave us our children with a clear mandate to mould them spiritually, morally, socially, and intellectually. For example, by age seven, they have learned about 75 per cent of everything they will ever know. Although there is no one-size-fits-all formula for success, there are God-given principles that work whether or not you’re a new parent, older parent, or someone who works with children. This God-given principle is to "Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it." (Prov. 22:6). This of course includes knowing the personality, characteristics, abilities of each child and then tailoring your training to fit them. Thus, God commends Abraham: "For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and so they will keep the way of the LORD, practicing righteousness and justice, so that the LORD may bring to Abraham that which he has told him” (Gen. 18:19). Are you a parent? Let's pray and commit our children back to God; let the Holy Spirit teach us how to bring up our children in the path of godliness in this evil and perverse generation.

PRAYER: Lord Jesus, thank YOU for the gift of our children, bless and shepherd them for us in the path of righte

*GOD CARES FOR US*

"And the man of God said, “Where did it fall?” And he showed him the place. And he cut down a stick and threw it in there, and the iron floated up." (2 Kings 6:6)

The Sons of the prophets sought for Elisha's permission to enlarge their place of meeting. Elisha gave his permission for the project, and also accompanied them in order to lend his support and encouragement. It was an opportunity for on-the-job training and to supervise the men in their work. It also gave him opportunity to minister more effectively to his disciples. Elisha showed interest and demonstrated his involvement even in the trivial matters as in the the loss of an axe head. Eventually, the prophet miraculously caused the axe head to float on water.

Brethren, this event is a wonderful illustration of the sovereign care and providence of God for His children. God cares about even the smallest and trivial incidents in our lives. He tells us to pray about everything and to cast all our cares on Him, because “He cares for us.” (1 Pet. 5:7). This story is given as a motivation for submitting ourselves under God’s providential hand by casting even our seemingly unimportant matters on the Lord. For God constantly cares about us. His faithfulness, care and love for us is steadfast and unfailing. Yes, they're new every morning (Lam. 3:21-23). Are you currently going through a crisis situation you think it's so trivial you can handle it yourself? This is an exalting of self against God. God is more concerned about our welfare and capable of caring for us than we could possibly do for ourselves. Cast your cares and commit all your ways unto God, He cares!

*PRAYER: Lord Jesus, YOU are my personal SHEPHERD, I cast all my problems under YOUR feet, because YOU care!*

*ADD SELF CONTROL TO YOUR CHRISTIAN LIFE*

"For this very reason, giving all your effort, add to your faith virtue, and to virtue knowledge, and to knowledge self-control, and to self-control patient endurance, and to patient endurance godliness, and to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love." (2 Peter 1:5–7)

Many people tend to blame circumstances for their character deficiencies like, poor upbringing, financial difficulties, etc. It's true that your circumstances sometimes may be beyond your control, but not your character. Just like you can't blame the mirror for how you look, likewise you can't blame your character flaws on circumstances alone. Integrity is always a choice, and every time you make a character-based decision, you take a step forward in your spiritual growth. For example, when you're faced with temptations and adversities, your choice could either be to escape, excuse, avoid, persevere or overcome.

Brethren, self-control is a fruit of God’s Spirit (Gal 5:23). By adding it to our everyday faithlife, it means we are yielding to the Spirit and walking in the Spirit and using the strength the Spirit gives us to bring our thoughts and desires and actions under control. Self control manifests in the living out of the inner spiritual life God has given us. It’s what brings out the divine characters in us. What's more, God is directing us toward a good goal of wanting us to be more and more like Christ: "For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren." (Rom 8:29). Therefore, we should cooperate with Him in this most sublime work. And the good news is, you don’t have to do it alone: "for it is God who is working in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure" (Phil. 2:13). Finally, think about how you can add self control to your everyday Christian life.

*PRAYER: Lord Jesus, help me to control my choices and excesses as I seek to become li
