Refuge and Consolation Ministry International (RCMI), is a non-governmental, non-profit making, non-denominational, disability, and social inclusion Christian organization. our Vision
We envision multitudes accepting Jesus Christ, getting saved, and making heaven with the host of heaven jubilating as the saints’ march into heaven in their numbers. We provide protection (refuge) to converts in di
fficult circumstances by meeting their spiritual, physical, social, and psychological needs. RCMI heralds the return of our Lord Jesus Christ, through evangelistic and medical outreaches and missions, discipleship, rehabilitation, and provision of resources to sustain the sheep under its care. As Ambassadors of Christ, RCMI work in partnership with relevant individuals, organizations, and Christian ministries to fulfill the task of the great commission and ensure that the sheep committed to its care can discover their potentials, fulfill their purpose on earth, and ultimately make it to heaven. RCMI also reaches the needy and
vulnerable groups in the society through outreaches, to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, and restore sight to move people from darkness to light. Our Core Values
We believe in the fruit of the spirit; characterized by sacrifice, selfless giving, and demonstrated through love. Other RCMI values include patience, kindness, faithfulness, self-control, and long-suffering. Our Goals and Objectives
The goals of RCMI are to preach the gospel of salvation and ensure that converts and missionaries under the ministry’s care are nurtured to full maturity in the Christian faith, so that they would continue steadfast in kingdom service and ultimately make heaven. The ministry provides support, protection, rehabilitation, and empowers individuals with strategies on how to overcome both spiritual and physical challenges of life. Objectives of RCMI:
• To reach the unsaved and vulnerable groups within Nigeria and beyond with the message of salvation and restoration of sights through outreaches and evangelistic missions.
• To alleviate suffering and humiliations that missionaries, converts in difficult circumstances, and the vulnerable groups in the society face through the provision of basic amenities including shelter, food, water, sanitation, security, health care as well as social and psychological support.
• To give a solid Christian foundation to new converts and missionaries and empower them with necessary competencies (Knowledge, attitude, and skill) that will enable them to navigate through life with ease.
• To empower the vulnerable, particularly persons with disabilities with skills for self-sustenance, to enable them to live good quality lives and contribute equitably towards enlarging the kingdom of God.
