Topic: build Trust Instead of Pity.
The gospel of Christ is not about pity but faith and love, because God has already shown compassion before sending Christ to make a way for our redemption.
So, let's follow Christ by His words, because His words are life to our spirit beings and a light in His pathway, which we follow while in this world.
So, you do not seek or cry for pity anymore as a believer; otherwise, for what sense will it be after being saved yet you are crying?
If you must do so, then what prompted you to believe in the first place that you're saved?
The reason for our believing is not in the future, but we receive it instantly, the moment we believe.
For example, when the two blind men finally got Christ's attention, He asked them, do you believe I can do this?
At that moment, they were believing Him while answering, yes, we believed you, and that response wasn't because they were believers, not until they received healings as evidence to become believers, believing that Christ Jesus came from God and that through Him we can access God again for recreation.
Before you confessed to being a believer, you'd been receiving enough to warrant your trust in Christ, and now you've become a witness, playing the role of motivating others to believe and receive.
In Matthew 21:22,.
And all things, whatsoever you shall ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive.
Listen to that word “believing” (it's a process). There, the Lord was speaking to unbelievers, people whose faith is built based on what they’ll receive before trust is adhered to.
But there are those with great faith, people who have not yet believed, and the Lord compliments such faith with blessings.
In Matthew 8:13. And Jesus said unto the centurion, go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto you. And his servant was healed in the same hour.
Meaning that, as such a believer, whatever you believe Christ for is done, authority to receive at will was instantly granted by Christ.
When Christ did speak to believers, those who hadn't received evidence yet believed Him; He referred to them as people with great faith.
The Centurion Man, Matthew 8:8–11.
What you receive from Christ is the evidence that established your belief, and that evidence was meant to grow your trust in Christ. One can easily say, I believe in Christ, but you’re not a believer.
Being a believer in Christ is a deliberate decision and an act of gratitude. So, you can decide now to become a believer in Christ intentionally, with a heart of appreciation.
Believing in Christ's words is showing appropriation for God’s love.
A believer's confessions are different from others; his declarations are without doubt because he will act based on the level of confidence he has in Christ.
Trust is built; the more you trust and receive it, the stronger your confidence grows in Christ.
You can as well help to grow your trust in Christ gradually by believing Him in little things before bigger things so that you can normalize your faith; it is far better than having faith with doubts.
Thank you, and be bless in Christ Jesus.
