Today, we joyfully celebrate Apostle Joshua Selman, our gift from God and a chosen vessel for our generation. Thank you for being a Father indeed and a shepherd to God’s flock. Your dedication to Kingdom advancement and your selfless service to the body of Christ have touched our lives in profound ways and we are deeply blessed to have you.

Your legacy of faithfulness is a testament to the transformative power of saying "Yes" to Jesus, and we are eternally grateful for the impact you’ve made on our lives. You are living proof that when a man stays with God, there is no limit to which God can go with that man. Your life is a living sermon, reflecting the grace and love of Christ in every word and action. By your example, we have learned the true meaning of humility, sacrifice, and faith. You have shown us that true leadership is servanthood and through your humble service, you have ignited a hunger for God in the hearts of many, rightly dividing the word of truth, and drawing men closer to God.

As we honour you on this special day, we pray that The Lord continues to rain His blessings upon you abundantly. May His divine protection and favour be upon you always. May your life continually reveal and glorify Jesus Christ.

4. Seek comfort, prayer and help from godly friends and the family of Believers.

Living an isolated Christian life will not benefit you in times of adversity. It can lead to a life of depression. As a believer, beyond attending Church, be genuinely connected in truth and be an active contributor to God's Kingdom.

5. Engage The Prophetic.

Regardless of the abuse of the prophetic, genuine prophecy is a potent ministry capable of averting afflictions. The Prophetic and Apostolic ministry has a mandate to turn around people’s captivity or situations and aid them in living a victorious life.

BIBLICAL KEYS TO LIVING A VICTORIOUS LIFE IN THE SEASON OF AFFLICTIONS.

For Believers, the terms “righteous” and “affliction” are not unfamiliar. Sometimes, these two concepts can be closely intertwined, but it is crucial to never give in to defeat. Though you may go through seasons of afflictions, seek solace in the Word of God, which declares “It is Finished" and be rest assured that you will emerge victorious.

1. Look Unto Jesus.

“To look” means relying on and depending entirely on God, even in moments of incomprehension. The believer’s faith is not only based on results, but rather on their unwavering commitment to trust in Jesus. There will be moments in life when you can’t find answers to your challenges. In those moments, it is important to look unto Jesus and wait on Him.

2. Commit to prayer even amidst pain, affliction, despair, or hopelessness.

When you do not know what to do or don’t understand what is happening, pray! It is in the place of prayer that direction and answers come. It may not be easy to pray, but when you pray, strength is supplied to you. Also, your tears and silence in God's presence can be your prayer.

3. Meditate upon and speak The Word of God over that situation.

No matter the obstacles you encounter, it is crucial to speak The Word of God concerning your situations and circumstances. Repeating God's Word especially in tough seasons is not just for emphasis but for creation. Every situation possesses the ability to perceive and comprehend the voice of God. Though you may be going through a difficult moment, put your emotions aside and seek solace in the Word of God.

THE POTENCY OF THE SUPERNATURAL AND THE MIRACULOUS.

The supernatural and the miraculous are at the very foundation of the Christian faith. They are not privileges exclusive to only a sect of believers. It was never intended by God that the supernatural and the miraculous should be occurrences that happen only once in a while. They should be the habitation of the believer.

The resurrection of Jesus, His ascension, coronation, the empowerment of the early Apostles and the exploits recorded in Scripture are all acts of the supernatural. The supernatural and the miraculous are only brought about by and through the manifestation of the power of God. They only happen when the power of God is on display.

Without and outside the power of God, there is no possibility of experiencing the supernatural. Jesus did not only give us power to validate the message of salvation, but to reveal His glory and His grace, so that in and through our lives, Jesus is revealed and glorified.

THE MERCY OF GOD IS NOT LIMITED TO ONLY SINNERS

— Apostle Philip Ashwer.

A man can receive nothing unless it is given to him by God. In this kingdom, we rise only by the help of God that makes our rising available.

There are three ways God helps men, and the first way is the mercy of God.

The first way the help of God can come to a believer is through the administration of the mercy of God.

The mercy of God is beyond a sinner asking God for pardon. Mercy is made available to both a believer and a sinner asking for God's forgiveness, so the mercy of God is not limited to only sinners.

The second way God helps men is through the Ministry of men.

When God wants to help you, he will introduce men to you that can accelerate your results.

The third way is through the Ministry of the holy Spirit. The holy spirit is called the helper, that means, he has responsibility over your life, so he is in your life inorder to assist you.

God, and the sooner we come to the realization that we are insufficient of ourselves, the better our lives will turn out to be.

How can you fail when the mercy of God is upon you, how can you fail when God has strategize great men into your life, how can you fail when you have the holy Spirit.

It is not your background or what you have done in the past that determines the outcome of your life, but if you can access the mercy and Grace of God, your life will definitely have a change, because the mercy of God has been made available to you.

HOW I WORSHIP GOD

— APOSTLE PHILIP ASHWER.

I don't just worship God anyhow, I always carry everything that needs my accolade to worship God. So whatever that wants my worship must join me in worshipping God and that is one of the easiest way to overcome the temptation of worshipping things, so if it is your wallet, your Visa, your promotion letter or anything, am not saying that you should idolize it, but am telling you to worship God with those things, when you lie down to worship God, also lie down with those things and worship God.

Every Christian should at least take a day off and worship God. We have become so busy with work that we forget to worship our father, if you cannot do it with your family, do it alone.

Listen, sometimes we need to go back and worship God, we are people of Prayer but we are also people of worship. Don't just learn how to pray alone, also learn how to worship God. If you can't sing, let something sing for you, that is one of the importance of technology, give technology the assignment to sing for you and let it join you as you worship your maker.

When God sees how you worship him with everything you placed on high, he will smile and say "because you did this for me, I will do for you what you cannot do for yourself".

If you want to command results, learn the art of worship because when you come out from the place of worship, one of the things that will be seen in you is Fire.

One of the things that has stopped the believer from experiencing the mighty hand of God is over dependence on the strength of the flesh.

If most people will pray, study the word of God and also worship him with one tenth of the passion they used in running around for human's help, I promise you that they will not be in the position or situation they are in right now!

Everything you get or acquire without God will kill you! no matter how important it is, so long as you dropped God to get it, it will destroy you.

PEOPLE THE DEVIL CAN USE TO CAUSE HAVOC IN YOUR LIFE

There are many people that got into trouble in their lives because they joined the wrong chariot. It was through discernment that the spirit of God told Philip to join a particular chariot and that led to the salvation of the Ethiopian.

If Jesus is in your boat, you will survive the storm, but if Jonah happens to be in your boat, even if you don't die, your business and other things will die.

A wicked person, a selfish person and a foolish person can cause the same havoc in your life, because this three personalities are effective tool in the hands of Satan, and that is why, if Satan looks for a wicked person and he did not find, the next person he will look for will look for, will be a selfish person, and if he did not find a selfish person, he will look for a foolish person, because they three of them can do the same evil.

There are people that may come into your life, they may not be wicked, but they might be self centered, and the devil will also use them to cause the same evil, a wicked person would have caused, and there are also people in your life that may not be self centered or wicked, but they are foolish and they are bankrupt of spiritual light , and they can equally be used to cause the same pain, so you need to pray and also be discerning.

You build discernment by understanding the word of God, by investing in prayer, so you should not trust anything or anybody no matter what untill you have prayed.

FERVENT PRAYERS MAKE YOU A FLAME OF 🔥

Many of us don't come from a good background, where they can give you everything including, moral support, brotherhood backing, but if you don't know how to fish your portion out of life through prayer, you will suffer.

The realm of the spirit has a register, there are people that their names are written as a track record of the havoc they caused to hell when they want something, they have been noted for many years, when they raise a prayer request, hell leaves quickly because they have the track record of insisting, so they don't take no for an answer.

Listen, if your priesthood fails, your family must or will die, your children must know you as man of prayer, so it has nothing to do with am busy, because you will be claiming to be busy when things are going wrong in your family. The duty of every priest in a family, is the duty of prayer.

Fathers, don't waste your entire night sleeping, while you should be praying, praying for your children and your wife is your utmost duty as a priest of that home. You paid a school fees of millions, and your child still comes back with a evil report, your duty is not flog or beat him, rather it is your duty to take him to your secret place of prayer because it is only prayer that can solve it.

If we let anything happen to our prayer life, we will lose a generation, even when you are feeling sleepy, sleep in the place of prayer.

There are pastors that don't pray, without knowing that they are contending with alot of powers, without knowing that there are spirit hanging on the destiny of their members that are at the mercy of a track record of a real fire, but untill you pray, nothing can happen.

Fervent prayers makes you a flame of fire, that anywhere you step your feet, deliverance will take place.
