HAPPY HOME MINISTRY 🕯️

Topic: Growing in ur marriage
Text: Ecclesiastes 9:9

* Marriage is ordained to bring honor to God
* Honor to the couples
* Honor to the community
* You’re either growing in ur marriage or dying in ur marriage
* Wisdom is knowing what to do and say at the right time and doing it

What happens when you grow in your marriage?
1. Your marriage will be strong in the spirit
2. Your marriage will be filled with wisdom
3. The grace of God will empower your marriage

* Growth only happens when you deliberately take some steps, not by wishful thinking
* Your marriage is a country within another country
* Growing in ur marriage is talking about acquiring the right knowledge

Ingredients for growth in marriage
1. You must have deep knowledge about God
2. You must learn to hear the voice of the Lord
3. Play with each other like children
4. Occasionally shower together
5. Defend each other, fight for one another
6. Pray and fast together
7. Train your children together
8. Buy a surprise gift for each other
9. Study each other very well
10. Learn to engage in a discussion and not arguments. Discussion is for the wise, argument is for the ignorant
11. Keep your marriage for the third party
12. Don’t keep secrets from each other
13. Help each other in the house
14. Know when to touch each other sexually
15. Never go to bed angry with each other. Every misunderstanding must be resolved before going to bed
16. Always appear neat and smell good before your husband
17. Invest into your spouse.
18. Be a role model to your children
19. As a man never raise your hand to beat your wife no matter the reason
20. Be broken
21. Fight anti-marriage forces together
