WELCOME ADDRESS — “DARE TO BE DIFFERENT” (3rd Edition)
Theme: Living for Jesus.
Delivered by Pastor (Mrs.) Uche Ihimodu
Good morning everyone,
On behalf of the entire planning team, it is my great joy and privilege to warmly welcome you all to the third edition of our teenagers’ program — “Dare to Be Different.” This year, we gather under a powerful and life-changing theme: “Living for Jesus.”
We are excited to see so many amazing teenagers, mentors, teachers, and guests gathered here today. Your presence shows a hunger for growth, purpose, and a desire to stand out in a world that often pressures young people to blend in. This program is designed to encourage you to be bold, to be intentional, and most importantly, to live a life that reflects Jesus in your words, actions, and choices.
“Dare to Be Different” is more than just a program — it is a call. A call to rise above negative influences, a call to choose purpose over pressure, and a call to live with courage, integrity, and faith. Over the course of this edition, we will learn, share, grow, and be inspired to become teenagers who shine as lights in our homes, schools, and communities.
To every teenager here today: you are not too young to make a difference. You are not too young to lead. You are not too young to live for Jesus. This program has been carefully planned to equip you, challenge you, and empower you to boldly stand out for Christ.
We sincerely appreciate our speakers, coordinators, volunteers, and everyone who has worked tirelessly to make this third edition a reality. May God bless your efforts abundantly.
Once again, I warmly welcome you all to “Dare to Be Different” — Third Edition. May this program inspire us to truly live for Jesus and courageously stand apart for His glory.
Thank you, and God bless you all.
