All merciful and powerful God
You created all things out of nothing
causing things that were not, to be
You looked upon Your creations and saw that
they were good, and You blessed them

We your children who are members of CBIU
Come before You in total surrender and appreciation
50 years ago You established this Union
Through your servant and Priest, Rev. Fr. B. I. Nwolu
And has continued to sustain it till date

We cannot thank You enough for the many souls
you have won for yourself through this Union
And the changes you are making in many of us for good
Thank you for the many hands you have used to water our work
Thank you for those who responded to be used for work
Thank you for those who will be joining later

As we gather for our Second National Conference
To reconsider what your Spirit has led us to accomplish
And how we have responded to you,
May you help us to rediscover better ways
To respond to your call and your Churches demand of us

Guide our Delegates in their thoughts and deliberations
May your Spirit cause their deliberations to be fruitful
So that our Union will continue to be useful and relevant
to you and your Church in our age

Our mother Mary, Mediatrix of all grace…
Pray to Jesus Christ for us
St. Benedict Abbot our Patron saint…
Pray to Jesus Christ for us
All Angels and Saints of God …
Pray to Jesus Christ for us

May the soul of our late founder
