Message: Benefits and wonders of walking in the Word.
Text: John 8:30-32
In essence a Christian is a follower of Christ and to follow Christ we must bring ourselves under His government and administration, failure to do so, it will be to your peril. Being a Christian is more than belonging to a denomination, it is exhibiting the life of Christ, (Ephesians 4:17-24).
It is in our knowledge and obedience of His commandments that we are freed from all forms of bo***ge and limitation. People of the kingdom are different from the people of the world, our operating system is not the same, Christ is our master while Satan remains master to people of the world. When you follow Christ from a distance, you don't see clearly. God is not partial, what He says to one , He says to all, Acts 10:34-35, Romans 2:6-11, God reward one according to one's deeds.
As a kingdomite, the scripture must be our standard of living. The difference between a believer and an unbeliever is while the believer depends on the word of God for everything in life, the unbeliever relies on his senses to take decisions and journey in life.
Nothing changes a man like God's word, Romans 12:2, it is the word of God and the spirit of God that renews the man. so, when you come to Christ, the word is essential for transformation.
Benefits of walking in the word
* God's word is made up of 75% instructions and 25% principles. Instructions are detailed information on how to do things while principles are moral laws or rules that influence actions and decisions, 2Timothy 3:16-17. The word is to instruct us on how best to handle issues of life. The quality of one's life in this kingdom depends on how well you align your life to the word of God. Every blessing of God is dependant on our willingness to obey instructions, Deuteronomy 28:1-13. To every possibility, there is a responsibility.
Kingdom wisdom is in doing those things God commands, it is the quality of the word you have and practice that determines your results, as believers we must understand that the challenges of life are from the invisible and we must tackle them from the invisible. Life is spiritual, it will be foolishness to seek to solve spiritual problem in the energy of the flesh, 2 Corinthians 10:3-6. Total deliverance can only come from God and this through His word. It is wisdom to obey God's word, Job 36:11
Wisdom in the kingdom is not common or intellectual sense but obedient sense, John 21: 5-6, Luke 5:4-7. Obedience makes life easy and stress-free. Praise God, I see someone stepping into a stress-free life in Jesus name, amen! When your obedience is complete, you become an authority, you words become laws.
I pray that God will make us custodian of territories in Jesus name, amen.
May the word we have heard build capacity in us in Jesus name, amen
