1Cor.13.13 But for right now, until that completeness, we have three things to do to lead us toward that consummation: Trust steadily in God, hope unswervingly, love extravagantly. And the best of the three is love. (MSB)

DON'T GIVE UP

Today in service, we had a deeper review on the topic “DON’T GIVE UP.”

We came to understand that pain cannot cease, but there is an advantage in learning to live above it.

We understood that men who give up are finished men, so we cannot give up until we are finished.

We understood different approaches that help men not to give up.

God’s Word — Psalm 119:92

Unless thy law had been my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction.” Psalm 119:92 (KJV)

Prayer: prayer keeps us closer to God

Praise Approach — Isaiah 38:16–20

«“O Lord, by these things men live, and in all these things is the life of my spirit: so wilt thou recover me, and make me to live.” Isaiah 38:16 (KJV)»

Believe: 2 Corinthians 4:13–14:

“We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak.” 2 Corinthians 4:13 (KJV)»

We also found out that no problem is unique.

When the turbulence of life strikes you, do you give up or grow up?

Remember, God never promised us that problems will end.

For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.” Romans 8:22 (KJV)

One of the reasons we fall is not to give up, but to see what pushed us down.

Failing is not destruction; giving up is.

«“The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.” Psalm 37:23 (KJV)»

«“Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.” — Psalm 37:24 (KJV)»

DON’T GIVE UP.
