*ALL WILL BE WELL*
*Joshua 1:1-18*
*INTRODUCTION* At the beginning of this year, the Lord said this year is a year of abundant surprises. Then price of things began to escalate. So I told myself for me, surprise will be PLEASANT surprises.
And truly the Lord have been giving my family abundant pleasant surprises even beyond expectation.
I tell you today like he told Joshua in *Isaiah 1:19*
*if you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land* .
1. He told Isaac *(Genesis 26 2-5)* do not go down to Egypt. Isaac heard and was able to have bountiful harvest in a time of famine
2. 1. He told Peter in ( *Luke 5:4-7)* let down your net, the master fisherman hearkened and had nettearing, neighbour inviting harvest.
3. He told Moses and Isreal in *(Exodus 14:21-29)* step forward and he destroyed the taskmasters that had oppressed them for over 420years
4. He told the lions in Daniels den, *(Daniel 6:22)* be patient so you can have superabundant meal. They hearkened and got it
5. He is saying to someone today listen, be willing and be obedient.
* I don't know what he is telling you but he says listen;
* I don't know where he is taking you but he says be willing
* I don't know how he is telling you but he says be obedient
*CONCLUSION*
And finally I am telling you take action!
Genesis 26:22
He moved on from there and dug another well, and no one quarreled over it. He named it Rehoboth saying, “Now the Lord has given us room and we will flourish in the land
The man did not sit idle but took action. Then ascribed the glory to God.
*Isaiah 41:10* . So do not fear, for I am with you; ...

It is well. Happy Sunday

THAT WHICH ONLY GOD CAN DO Psalms 126:1-6

When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, We were like them that dream. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, And our tongue with singing: Then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them. The LORD hath done great things for us; Whereof we are glad. Turn again our captivity, O LORD, As the streams in the south. They that sow in tears Shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

The Bible says in Psalms 14:1 'the fool says in his heart there is no God.'
Also Proverbs 23:7 says 'as a man think in his heart, so is he.'

The above two scriptures makes us understand that a fool *believes* there is no God.
But an incident happened that made the fool change his mind... when the Lord turned the captivity of Zion.
Even the concerned were so overwhelmed with the transformation that they thought they were dreaming. By the time they realised it was no dream, their mouth were filled with laughter. Then their song became 'what the Lord has done for us, we cannot tell it all...' The change was so phenomenal that it could not be hidden from the public. Then the heathen, unbelievers in the existence of God knew without doubt that the occurrence was beyond physical. Fools as they were knew it was divine and thus ascribed it to a divine being they hitherto believed didn't exist.
I decree this day, according to the Lord's word in Isaiah 49: 24 -26 every captivity where you find yourself, you are delivered now in Jesus mighty name. People will gather to celebrate with you. Kings will come to your shining light to bless you. Indeed, the Lord's hand will propel you forward and divine helpers will locate you.
Heaven's will open for your and yield it's increase. As Isaac sowed and reap bountifully, so shall your harvest of goodness be. Dews will drop for you and lines will fall in pleasant places for you and yours.
It is well.

HE THAT HATH AN EAR, LET HIM HEAR 2Timothy 2:19-26

2 Timothy 2:19
Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

2 Timothy 2:21-26
If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work. Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

At about 3.00am this morning the Lord woke me up and gave me the above passage to minister with.
1. The foundation of God stand sure having this seal.
* foundation refers to the beginning. If the foundation is faulty, the house can't stand. That was why Jesus gave the parable about houses built on sand and rock. God will not change his standard for anyone for any reason.
2. The Lord know those that are his.
* No matter how you pretend, the Lord knows his own.
* He knows those that are Christians(Christlike) acting just like Jesus would do whether anyone is watching them or not.
* If you pretend to man, can you pretend to God who will eventually and ultimately judge?
3. Let everyone that nameth the name of christ depart from iniquity.
* Stay away from sin, period.
* How do you do this because you may say it is not easy to do that in this perverse world.
* The answer is simple and can be found in these scriptures....
-* flee from all appearance of evil
-* resist the devil and he will flee from you.
-* beware of the wiles of the devil
*- pray without ceasing
4. But in a great house, there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but of wood and earth
* Everyone has a place, position and role to play.
* In your sphere of influence , utilise that position to lead people to Christlike living, don't lead them away from the truth.
* The Lord wants to use you but you must first make yourself available.
* That is why he said 'purge yourself from these'. He is not going to do it, you are (Joshua 1:8)
5. Do not compare yourself to others. Your purpose for coming into this life is different. Are we saying Jesus did not know Judas will betray him and Peter deny him?
* Every incident needs a vessel, and every vessel has a purpose.
* You need a vessel to eat and you need a vessel to discharge what you have eaten.
* Will anyone in his right sense see rice and feaces and decide to choose feaces.
* We all defecate, so why don't we like it. Because it is filty!
* If Jesus did not choose Judas, who will hand him over to enemies to be crucified
* If he did not call Paul, Peter etc, how will you and I hear about the word of salvation. Choose to be a vessel unto honour, not a vessel unto dishonour.
* When you do your part, he will then take you, wash you in and out to meet his criteria and then use you to fulfil destiny and make impact.
7. Flee youthful lusts.
* There is this saying in Yoruba language among students of school age that juju cannot affect students, but there is also a Yoruba adage that says 'mode but iroko o boju weyin. Oojo ko ni oluwere npani'. Loosely translated, it means you don't get consequence of your action immediately but it will come upon you at a later date.
* Go and ask Reuben and Esau in the Bible to share their bitter experience
8. With them that call upon God out of a pure heart.
* Avoid negative influence eg bad friends(can two walk together except they be agreed?
* When sinners entice thee, consent thou not
9. Avoid unlearned questions
* Is wearing of trousers a sin?
* Is wearing of jewelry a sin?
* What is anyone's business with how I dress?
* Is payment of tithe biblical?
* Why is different church having different standard, are we not going to same heaven?
10. Instruct others that oppose themselves
* Before you can instruct, you must be well versed yourself (2 Timothy 2:15)
11. They may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil
* If you don't tell them the truth, how will they know it? And get off the leech of the devil?
12. Who are taken captive by him at his will
The devil has some by the juggernaut because they gave him leeway.
But the scripture is clear about this.
Can the captives be delivered, can the lawful captives be delivered. Even the prey of the terrible can be set free.
But there must be a willingness
That was why Jesus still asked the blind man what he wanted.
And the man replied 'that I may see!'

Do you want to *'see?'*
Call upon Jesus right now and ask him to show you mercy and save you.
It is well.

Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me.
Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.
Then I will teach transgressors your ways, so that sinners will turn back to you.
Psalms 51: 11-13

12/08/2024

COMING OUT OF LODEBAR “You are coming out of Lo Debar.
The enemy has exiled you to a place where God’s presence is absent, but God is taking you out of that place to the place where His presence is.You are coming out of Lo Debar!”I Samuel 20:17 says that Jonathan loved David as much as he loved himself. Their friendship was something that defied the odds because of Jonathan’s father, Saul’s, obsession about killing David; nevertheless, the two were best friends.

In I Samuel 31 Jonathan dies, along with Saul, in battle. In II Samuel 9 David remembers the covenant he made with his best friend, Jonathan, and asks is there anyone left from Saul’s family (who fled in fear when David became king because they thought he would take retribution out on them for the way Saul had treated him).Siba, who was a servant of Saul, tells David about Jonathan’s son, Mephibosheth, who was crippled as a child when he was dropped as Saul’s family fled the palace in fear. Mephibosheth now resided at Makir’s house in Lo Debar. David tells servants to bring Mephibosheth from Lo Debar. When Mephibosheth arrives David says, “Don’t be afraid, I will be kind to you for your father, Jonathon’s, sake. I will give you back all the land of your grandfather, Saul, and you will always eat at my table.” (II Samuel 9:7)Lo Debar was a city in Manasseh. The name means no pasture, no word, and no communication. God’s promise in Psalms 23:2 is that we are to rest in green pastures. Pasture as defined by the dictionary is grass or other vegetation eaten as food by grazing animals. It’s ironic that this place Lo Debar also means no word.

The spiritual food we eat is the Word of God. There’s no spiritual food in Lo Debar. God tells us to rest in the freshness and abundance of his Word, but when we let fear drive us to Lo Debar we get no rest in God’s Word because we can’t hear God’s Word when we live in fear.Fear not only prevents us from hearing God’s word, it takes us out of position. Mephibosheth’s rightful position was not in Lo Debar. His rightful position was at the king’s table. It take’s you out of God’s presence. Ephesians 2:6 says, “He has raised us up with Christ and gave us a seat with Him in heaven.” He has seated us in heavenly places, yet, we instead, sit at the table of depression or the table of oppression, or the table of grief, or the table of sickness or the table of lack.David’s first words to Mephibosheth were, “do not be afraid”. David cast out that spirit of fear out of Mephibosheth. Then Mephibosheth was able to be restored to his rightful position at the king’s table (seated in heavenly places) and received his rightful possessions.
In I Samuel 30:8, after the Amalekites had kidnapped David’s family and stolen all his possession, God told him that he would recover all. Now David was telling Mephibosheth the same thing. David gave Mephibosheth back everything that belonged to Saul, but he couldn’t receive the possessions until he was in position. You can’t receive the possessions if you are out of position. The right position to be in is seated in heavenly places. The right position to be in is in the presence of God because it is the only way you will be able to hear His Word. You get in position by prayer, fasting, worship, studying your Bible, exercising your faith, walking in obedience and loving your neighbor as yourself. The Word says to seek first the Kingdom and His righteousness and then (and only then) will everything else be given to you. Also the reason Mephibosheth was restored was because of David’s covenant with Jonathan. Restoration comes only comes when you are in covenant with God (like the covenant of paying tithes).God is bringing you out of Lo Debar, a place of desolation, isolation and separation from Him. He is bringing you out of Lo Debar and into a place where His presence is abundant. It is a place of rest and a place of green pastures. A place where there is no fear nor condemnation. It is a place of anticipation, restoration and restitution. You are coming out of Lo Debar.

Immediacy: David a man after God's heart

David was a man after God's heart not because he wasn't sinning but because he always forsake his sin whenever his attention is called to it.
When you are confronted with a sin, do you try to justify your action or feel contrition and leave it.
The law of immediacy says leave the sin immediately, confess it and never go back to ot it.
That is the mind of God for you.
Be like David, practise the law of immediacy, seek after God always to please him

The Sacrifice I need To Make (Isaiah 43:2-5; Gen 39- 44)

When you make the necessary sacrifice and play according to rule, the Lord will also help you achieve not your dream but his vision for your life. A small sacrifice(sowing) will yield bountiful returns (harvest).
And the Bible has said it that as long as the earth remains, seed time and harvest time will not cease.
There is no glory without a pain.
To achieve your glory, to get to your promised land, you must go from Egypt to Canaan. On the way from Egypt is red sea, amalekites, drought, and the vagabonds in the cities to Canaan land.
Are your efforts and happenings around you taking you to the goal or away from it. But note, if everything seems at variance to the dream, He is got you covered. He says if you pass through the waters, he is there with you. That was why he was with Daniel even in the lions den.
Joseph stood and was clothed with fine linen at the end.
Question is: Will you sacrifice your Isaac to God? A
re you ready to make the sacrifice Abraham made to receive the appellation of 'friend of God'.

**JACOBS ENCOUNTER: The princes of Persia*
*(Daniel 10:10–13)**

*"Idojuko Jakobu: Awon ijoye Persia*
*(Daniel 10: 10- 13)*

Then he said to me, “Fear not, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand and humbled yourself before your God, your words have been heard, and I have come because of your words. The prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days, but Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I was left there with the kings of Persia".

*Introduction:* Daniel prayed to God and God answered him same day. But 21 days after God had answered his prayer, he was still on his knees asking God for what God had already done 21 days previously.

The spiritual implication of this is that it is one thing to ask, it is another to receive.
For example, you call your brother you need school fees and he promise to give you asking you come the following week for it; within that period, he suffered a loss, or died or his wife told him not to give you. When you get there the following week, it will be a disappointment.
*** (We will not suffer disappointment in Jesus name).

*1* . Bible tells us in *Ephesians 6:4* "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places".

and that *2 Corinthians 10:4,*
"the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds".

So it will be stupidity to want to fight spiritual battle with carnal weapons. That is why you need God in all your endeavor if you want to be successful.
Yoruba will say " oju boro ko la fin gbomo lowo ekuro"
***(God will arise and attend to your case in Jesus name.)

*2* . The Princes of Persia arrested the answer of Daniel and took it to their king for custody.
***(every of you glory in captivity of the evil ones, come out by fire in Jesus name).

*3* . Jacob left home, met angel, fought with angel, prevailed, was blessed and was given a new name.
*** I decree into your life, you will
*=* "leave home"(get opportunities),
*=* you will "fight with angel"(get finance to achieve it),
*=* you will "prevail"(make profit),
*=* you will "receive new name"(get positive change of story)
in Jesus mighty name.

*Conclusion:*
In *Isaiah 49:24-26* God, almighty the on that rule in the affairs of men declared, "Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered?

But thus saith the Lord, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contend with thee, and I will save thy children.

And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the Lord am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

***(every captivity either lawful of unlawful that Nigeria finds himself, I stand on God's word that says prey of the mighty shall be delivered and lawful captive set free, Nigeria, be delivered, be set free in Jesus name)

*Prayer Point*
*1* . Every hindrance to my answered prayers scatter by fire in Jesus name.
*2* . Every stubborn forces limiting my progress, be destroyed by fire of the lord in Jesus name
*3* . Every force and power waiting at the place of my breakthrough, be destroyed by fire in Jesus name
*4* . Father, send destiny helpers to me in Jesus name
*5* . Let hallelujah, the song of victory never cease from my mouth in Jesus name.
*6* . Personal prayers

*NB* : apologise on my to those that bring their article of trade, tell them to come next week and we shall anoint by Gods grace.

It is well. Shalom

The Prayer of Jabez 1Chron 4: 9-10

9. Now Jabez was more honorable than his brothers,
and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, “Because I bore him in pain.”

10. And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying,
* “Oh, that You would bless me indeed,
*and enlarge my territory,
* that Your hand would be with me,
* and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!”

So God granted him what he requested.

The story of the man jabez had no prologue or epilogue. It just happened suddenly into the history and went. Unless we want to say God makes mistakes, we know the passage was there for a reason.
*Things started badly for a person no one had ever heard of.
*He prayed an unusual, one-sentence prayer.
•*Things ended extraordinarily well for him.

Jabez life is in two parts; the before(vs9) and the after(vs10)
Just like your life as a christian; the before and the after. The before you became a Christian and the after you became a Christian. Is there a difference truly? Has old things passed away, has ALL things become new?(2 Cor 5:17)
He says his plan for you is to prosper and be in health!(3John:2)
And he is not man that will lie or repent!(Num 23:19)

There is one thing that I believe Jabez had that made his simple prayer so powerful, it was that he had faith and he lived a life to serve God by doing good for others. That is what made Jabez more honorable than his brothers. He dared to be different, he did not conform to the norm(Rom 12:2)
The Jabez prayer shows and proves God's powerful will for your future because it reveals that God wants to give you so much more than you may have ever thought to ask for (1Cor 2:9)
But for Jabez prayer to work for you, you need to;
* Know God (Matt 15:;26)
"It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs."
* Have faith (Heb. 11: 6) "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him"
* Do good (Galatians 6:9) “Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”

PP
Pass me not, O gentle Savior,
Hear my humble cry,
While on others Thou art calling,
Do not pass me by.
Savior, Savior,
Hear my humble cry;
While on others Thou art calling,
Do not pass me by.

1. You have 5 minutes to pray as you like. Look at your life, and reflect on it. Call upon God for a change of direction just like Jabez. He says to call upon him in times of trouble and he will answer you and give you rest. He says you have not asked anything in times past, ask now that your joy may be full. He is asking you for a change in direction, a rededication of your life to him. A life of consecration to him. A life that will make him take your matter to heart. A life that will make him put a mark of "touch not" on you. Hallelujah!
