The 2026 Deanery Youth Week Grand Finale was a beautiful and successful celebration filled with faith, culture, unity, and thanksgiving at St Anne Catholic church, Ibara.

All the parishes came together as one family in Christ to celebrate the goodness of God and give thanks for a successful Youth Week.

The celebration was made even more colourful by the beautiful cultural attires, showcasing the richness and diversity of our cultures. It was truly a day of faith, culture, unity, and thanksgiving—a beautiful reminder that although we come from different parishes and backgrounds, we are one in Christ.

Today, we joyfully thank God for the gift of your priesthood and celebrate seven years of faithful service to God and His people.

A cherished farewell before a new beginning.

Last Sunday was our dear Deacon’s final Sunday serving at the alter in St. Andrew Catholic Church before his ordination.

These moments remind us of the joy of witnessing God’s call unfold in the life of one of our own. We pray that the Lord grants him the grace to be a faithful and holy priest.
