The subtle nature of idolatry.
It does not begin with rebellion. It begins with relief.
The job that carried us becomes the identity we protect.
The relationship that healed us becomes the thing we fear losing more than God.
The routine that once kept us alive becomes a system we trust more than His voice.
Slowly, quietly, almost respectfully, our dependence shifts.
And suddenly, we are no longer looking at God. We are managing life without Him.
