AGREEING WITH GOD
Amos 3:3
Can two walk together unless they agree?
Disagreement is often the root cause of fractures in every relationship. When we fail to understand each other and do not agree with each other's words and actions, it tends to destroy beautiful homes and relationships. The first priority in building lasting relationships should be learning how to agree with each other. This requires a deliberate and intentional effort.
The same is true in our walk with God. No one can have a vibrant relationship with the Lord while disagreeing with Him. Those who walk with God maintain an attitude of constant agreement with His word, while those who do not have a relationship with Him consistently reject His ways.
This was the case with the Jews in the wilderness. God called them to walk with Him for the fulfillment of His divine plan on earth, but because they did not agree with Him, He could not use them for His purpose. As a result, He ignored and rejected them.
We also learn about Enoch, who walked with God. It was said that he did so by faith. He agreed with everything God told him. He aligned himself with God's plans and believed in what God could do. Because of this, it was said that he pleased God.
This means that no one can go far with God without first deciding in their heart to constantly agree with everything God has spoken and will continue to speak. Otherwise, such a person will be cut off by God.
You pray, yet you don't truly agree with God that He will answer your prayers. If not, why do you complain and murmur after praying? Isn't it because of your disagreement with Him?
You are in ministry, yet you don't believe you will thrive. If that's the case, you should either leave the ministry or settle your doubts with God. Believe that you will prosper and thrive, or else failure is inevitable.
Whatever God has said to you, He will do it. He is more than capable, no matter how unreasonable it may seem. God is always up to the task.
Dare to agree with God.
