Woman's/ Man's Clothes.....................................

There are many argument on these questions between us in Christendom.

The Question is that is it good for a Christian sisters or Born -again Christian to put on trousers?.

The very first Bible verse we all know about this is that of Deuteronomy 22:5. " The woman will not wear that which pertains to a man,nor will a man put on a woman's clothing; for all who do so are an abomination to the LORD your God.

Woman's clothing: Anything that would blur the distinction between males and females was to be shunned in a society that sought to maintain righteousness before God. It is not said what determined either a man or woman's clothing. But if the clothing was identified by society to reflect the status of either a man or woman, then men or women should shun the parading themselves as the opposite s*x. The prohibition here is against the one who is seeking to pose either himself or herself as the opposite s*x.
Parapet: This would be a battlement or railing to prevent someone from falling off the roof.
Woven together: These laws, though they may seem frivolous to us, are given on the background of the Canaanites culture which Isreal was to destroy from the land. The mixing of fibers in garments was probably a reference to Canaanites garments that were worn in respect of certain Baals.
This passage clearly teaches the importance of maintaining a proper distinction between the s*xes, the lack of which is an abomination unto the LORD thy God. This warning does not refer merely to clothing styles but to that which pertains unto a man, that is, " a man's things". This prohibition included clothing that was distinctively masculine in ornamentation as well as other ornaments, weapons,or items distinctively associated with men. The prohibition is against transvestism which was often associated with homos*xuality and fertility rites. That is all I have to say about that but the spirit of the truth shall interpret it better than I do to help you understand what I mean in Jesus name Amen.🙏🙏🏃🧎
