*Topic: Secrets Of Effective Prayer[Part 1]*

_Jas 5:16 KJV Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much__ .

Prayer is the act of communing with God. Prayer is not what you seldomly do but an act you should indulge in every time and every day. It is a lifestyle and not a religious activity. It is a lifestyle of communion with the father. The word _communion_ in the Greek means _fellowship_ or _sharing_ . God seeks fellowship with his children. This is why God came down always to fellowship with Adam. Prayer involves you and God, you talk to God, He relates back to you, He shares His mind with you as you share yours etc. Prayer goes beyond asking, but relating with the Father. In the place of prayer, your relationship with God gets more bonded, just like communication makes every type of relationship deeper.

*Wrong Notions About Prayer*
#1 God answers only some people - This is not right as God gives free access to everyone to approach His throne(Heb 4:16)(Ps 65:2)
#2 You need to pray aloud for your prayers to be heard -This is wrong. Effective prayers is not in the shouting. Prayer is borne from the heart and passionately expressed through the mouth. God knows what you need before you even ask Him.He is closer to you than you ever imagine. (Matt 6:8)
#3 You need to pray over and over again before your prayers are answered - This is also wrong. No father will expect his child to say something repeatedly before it is answered.Once you pray, answer his released. You only keep on persisting in prayers for manifestation of the answered prayer and not for your prayer to be answered.(Mark 11:24)

#4 You need to repeat words in prayer for your prayers to be heard - This is also a wrong notion. This was an act of the religious people and Jesus condemned it (Matt 6:7).Jesus called it vain or empty repetit

*TOPIC: WINNING THE BATTLES OF LIFE [Part 3]*

Eph 6:12 KJV For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

This verse of the scriptures reveals that there are four hierarchy levels in the demonic kingdom.They all operate on their levels and operate together to accomplish their evil plans
The Hierarchy levels are:
#1 The Principalities-_ In the Greek,this word is translated here "arche", which means chief in rank.These are the second in command to the devil.An example of such in the Bible is the prince of persia.
Dan 10:13 KJV But the *prince of the kingdom of Persia* withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.
Principalities control continents. They form the governing council in the kingdom of the devil and relate directly with the devil.
#2 The Powers - The Greek word translated here is _exousia_ which means _delegated authority_.These are next in command to the principalities.They take orders from the principalities and rule over nations.The first two levels form the major levels in the satanic kingdom.
#3 The rulers of the dark age of this world - These are the next in command and take orders from the powers (level 2).
#4 Spiritual wickedness in high places - These are spiritual soldiers in the satanic kingdom that execute evil plans; wrought destructions; inflict sicknesses and diseases; make people to indulge in sin; cause deception etc.An example of such spirits in the scripture is given below:

Mar 9:25 KJV When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him.

The good news is that we are above all evil spirits...

*TOPIC: HOW TO WIN BATTLES OF LIFE* *(Part 1)*

Eph 6:12 KJV For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Every christian is engaged in a continual battle that demands your spiritual insight and faith, to establish the already won victory that Jesus has given to us. The devil sets up oppositions against you, knowingly or unknowingly to you, visible and invisible to thwart, interfere, subvert your vision and frustrate your efforts in life.

The Greek word translated "wrestle" here is _pale_ which is a contest between two people, with each endeavouring to throw down the other,and decided on when one is able to hold down the neck of the other. Therefore, your victory is to continually throw down the devil, humiliate him and hold down his neck, to incapacitate him.Glory!

The first truth I will like to highlight here is that for you to always the win the battle against forces of darkness, *change your focus* .Stop seeing men as your enemies or oppositions, they are just instruments used by the real enemy, the devil.Therefore deal with the real enemy first, and you will discover that the battle will become easier to win.

Mar 8:33 KJV But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men.

This is a typical example.Peter was simply showing concern, unknowingly to him, the devil was influencing his mind and words, to dissuade Jesus from his assignment.Jesus was rebuking Peter but directly addressing the devil, to get behind him, for he exercises his mind on the things that pertain to men, how to steal,kill and destroy men[Watch out for *Devil's Focus* in subsequent edition of Rhema For Today]
