Discretion epitomises wisdom

Psalm 112:5 KJV: A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: He will guide his affairs with discretion.

A practical application of wisdom is the ability to make right decision amidst multiple options. This aspect of wisdom is known as discretion.
Discretion is taught by observation, intuition, spiritual sensitivity or perception, and divine instructions.
In life, everyone must build his/her ability to rightfully exercise discretion. Until you can be trusted to make right judgment in all issues of life, lives cannot be safe under your care and leadership.

Action point: Can you be trusted to make the right decision and do the right thing in all life issues. It's time to seek after wisdom and discretion.

Wisdom is revealed in life choices

1 Kings 12:1-16

In life, we all have to make several choices. Some are Morality decisions while others are priority decisions.
Morality decisions are choices between wrong and right while priority decisions are choices between competing options of differing consequences.
The ability to make correct decision in all life choices without benefit of hindsight is proof of wisdom. Wisdom or folly is revealed in a man when life presses on you to make vital decision.

Action point: Examine, with the benefit of hindsight, your major life choices till date. Is there evidence of wisdom in your choices?
