In every generation God raises men and both kings. The question is, are you carrying something the king needs? Do you have what it will take to attract them to you? Influence and access are not given to just anyone; they are given to those who provide answers that rulers and nations lack. Can you Identify one area where you can develop exceptional expertise? When you find it, invest in that area of growth so that when the king calls, you will have the right answer!
Daniel, David and Joseph are perfect examples of men who became indispensable because they had what the king lacked.
Daniel: He possessed divine wisdom, interpretation of dreams, and superior mental capacity. When King Nebuchadnezzar had troubling dreams that no one could interpret, Daniel’s insight set him apart (Daniel 2:19-23). Because of what he carried, he moved from captivity to prominence in the kingdom.
Joseph: He had strategic intelligence. When Pharaoh had a dream about the coming famine, no one in Egypt had the solution, except Joseph. His ability to interpret the dream and provide a survival strategy made Pharaoh elevate him to second-in-command (Genesis 41:38-41).
Is it David, he was skilful and dedicated to it that none in the whole province of Israel had what it takes to calm the king anytime the evil spirit begins to torment him, but David was found with the solution.
The key lesson here is that kings seek those who have what they lack. If you want to be positioned before great people, you must develop a skill, wisdom, or insight that is rare and valuable. Kings don’t look for noise-makers; they look for problem-solvers. What do you carry that will make a king call for you? Are you cultivating wisdom, strategic thinking, innovation, or spiritual insight that can shift a generation? The level of access you have in life is determined by the quality of solutions you bring to the table.
PRAYER: Lord, I refuse to be ordinary. I receive divine wisdom, strategy, and insight that will make me a solution to my generation. Kings will seek me, and nations will call for me because I carry what they lack. I will stand before great men, in Jesus name. Amen!
