You may not know this, but spiritual power is one of the greatest hidden causes of pride.

That moment when you pray for someone under deep oppression, and suddenly they are free.
When a barren family now carries children, exactly as you prophesied.
When the person denied a visa is now standing in the very nation you said they would enter.

There is a dangerous confidence that can grow around “power.”

And the frightening thing is that nothing really prepares a man for the pride that tries to follow it.

So every day, in every way, at every stage, we must keep saying:
“God help me. I still do not know enough.”

“God help me” is not a cliché.
It is a confession of dependence.

It is saying:
“Lord, people may think I have everything figured out. The results may suggest that I do. But without You, I am helpless.”

Like a strong wife who is capable of carrying heavy things herself, yet still calls her husband and says,
“Come help me.”

Not because she is weak.
But because she recognizes he is her head.
…because love leans.

Sometimes “God help me” is more than prayer.
Sometimes, it is a love language.
