REMARK MADE ON THE BOOK "MARKING YOUR MARRIAGE WORK: HOW TO HAVE THE MARRIAGE OF YOUR DREAM"
This book – Making Your Marriage Work – written by Pastor Nnamdi Chinyere, is a book for both the married and unmarried. Its rich and deep spiritual content makes interesting reading. The author has written the book uniquely and excitingly, choosing to use terms and language that all ages can easily align and identify with. Having read through the book, I am fully persuaded that most married couples and the unmarried will find the book a very useful companion.
The author has also chosen a structure that makes the book quite easy both to read and to understand. His style of exegesis with its associated linkage and life application makes the book educative, instructive and understandable. The layout is simple, while the prose is free-flowing and the Bible expositions dovetail into each other such that once you start reading, the deep spiritual content will not let you put the book down until you have finished the chapter with its associated lessons.
Having said that, I wish to point to some salient issues that the author has raised in the book, which, to me, are the critical reasons why I am endorsing it. First, the author has devoted a lot of time to describe how to understand the concept of marriage from God's point of view as well as understanding the key reasons for marriage. In addition, he rightly advised that God should be made the centre of all marriage unions. He ended the book by proffering how people can use spiritual resources to fight for their marriages in this day and age.
While I appreciate the author for a job well done, I wish to endorse and recommend this book to all and sundry because everyone needs the wealth of wisdom and knowledge that the book offers. I especially encourage all singles to get this book, read, assimilate and position themselves for a glorious marriage in future.
