What a thrilling day for a wonderful celebration!
Heaven bore witness, the angels rejoiced, and two hearts became one heartbeat.

On Saturday, 4th July 2026, at The Apostolic Church, Oku Abak District Headquarters, history was made.
Our beautiful Sis. Anthonia Udoh and our dear Bro. Blessing Peter were joined as ONE in holy matrimony.

To fulfill what the Lord declared in His Word:
“Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.” – Genesis 2:24

What God has joined together, let no man separate.– Matthew 19:6

This is not just a wedding. It’s a covenant. It’s destiny. It’s love written by God Himself.

SERMON HIGHLIGHTS

TOPIC: Honouring God with Our First Fruits_
TEXT: Proverbs 3:9-10_
PREACHER: Pastor K. U. Noah, Ph.D.

SUMMARY
The instruction given to us as believers is to honour God with our substance and with the first fruits of all our increase.
Honouring God with our substance can include our time, skills, wisdom, talents, agricultural harvests, finances, and so much more.

As believers, if you possess any of these, use them to honour God, because there are rewards attached.
_Proverbs 3:10– _“Then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.”

BIBLICAL BASIS FOR FIRST FRUITS
Scripturally, three major feasts were highlighted in _Deuteronomy 16:16:
_“Three times a year all your males shall appear before the Lord your God at the place which He chooses:”
1. The Feast of Unleavened Bread / Passover
2. The Feast of Weeks / Pentecost
3. The Feast of Tabernacles

At these gatherings, no one was to appear before the Lord empty-handed.
_Deuteronomy 16:17 – _“Each of you must bring a gift in proportion to the way the Lord your God has blessed you.”

Whenever we give, it should come from our hearts. We must not have the mindset that we are giving to a pastor, but that we are giving unto God.
_Deuteronomy 26:10 – _“And now, behold, I have brought the first fruits of the land which You, O Lord, have given me... and you shall set it before the Lord your God and worship before the Lord your God.”

WHO RECEIVES THE FIRST FRUITS?
According to Scripture, the first fruits are to be brought to the house of the Lord, to the priests ministering there.
_Nehemiah 10:35-36–
_“We also assume responsibility for bringing to the house of the Lord each year the firstfruits of our crops and of every fruit tree... to the priests who are ministering in the house of our God.”

WHY SHOULD WE GIVE OUR FIRST FRUITS?
1. To acknowledge God as the Source of our blessings.
_Deuteronomy 8:18– _“But remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth...”
_James 1:17
2. It is an act of worship and gratitude.
_Deuteronomy 26:10-11
3. It shows that God is first in our lives.It reflects priority.
4. It is an act of covenant obedience to God.
5. It teaches dependence on God and generosity toward His work.

BLESSINGS THAT FOLLOW OBEDIENCE
When we obey God’s instructions concerning giving:
_1 Timothy 6:17-19_
- Promotion
- Wealth
- Expansion
- Divine Provision
- Joy

NUGGETS
As you bring your first fruit, declare in your heart:
_“Lord, this is from the blessings You have given me. This is what I have brought to You for Your unending favour and blessings.”
_Philippians 4:19 – _“And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”

When bringing your first fruits, do not give room for doubt, because doubt hinders the flow of God’s blessings.

To God alone be all the glory!

DIVINE SERVICE & FIRST FRUIT HARVEST AT THE APOSTOLIC CHURCH NIGERIA, OKU ABAK ASSEMBLY.

INTRODUCTION
With hearts full of gratitude, we brought our First Fruit Harvest unto the Lord, acknowledging His faithfulness, provision, and abundant blessings upon our lives.

The congregation gathered to worship the Lord Almighty. The Worship Session was led by Elder Cletus Adrian, who read the Scriptures in preparation for worship from Psalm 24:1-8. With one voice, the congregants worshipped their Maker in faith and expectation.

All wings of the choir rendered beautiful songs of praise and honour to God with their voices.

4. BRIEF BIOGRAPHY OF THE LATE PROPHET ANIEFIOK ASUQUO AKA

Early Life and Parentage: The late Prophet Aniefiok Asuquo Akan was born on 29th May, 1970, to the late Adviser Asuquo Akan of Ikot Ekpenyong and the late Deaconess Serah Asuquo of Ikot Oko, both in Essien Udim L.G.A., Akwa Ibom State.

Christian Life: From his youth, he embraced Christianity and was a dedicated member of the African Apostolic Unity Mission, where he was baptized and served faithfully, progressing from the office of an Elder to that of a Prophet until his demise.

Occupation: Following his FSLC, he trained as a Furniture Carpenter. He subsequently worked with Amajedeti Constructions in Port Harcourt and Newco Construction Company in Lagos. He later resigned to manage his personal business ventures in palm oil, farming, and general trading until his passing.

Marital Life: He was married to Mrs. Felicia Aniefiok Asuquo of Ikot Essien Okon. Their union was blessed with six children — two sons and four daughters — and grandchildren. Their home was built on a foundation of faith, mutual love, and Christian values.

Social Life: Fondly referred to as “Ime Asuquo” by his peers, he was known for his kind, humble, jovial, and peace-loving nature. He was generous, community-minded, and related freely with all, irrespective of age, status, or religion. He served as a Patron in his family, an Adviser in the village, and Chairman of the Village Council until his death.

Death: He was sound and healthy with no prior sign of illness. He suddenly fell ill on 13th December, 2025, and passed away on 14th December, 2025, after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, siblings, and many others.
5. NUGGETS FOR REFLECTION
Since we are all destined to die, we must ask the Holy Spirit daily to guide our path so we do not stray or lose our relationship with God.

Father of Our Sister, Mrs. Peace Ukpono Ndarake

1. SERVICE DETAILS
Date: Tuesday, 23rd June 2026
Venue: African Apostolic Unity Mission, Ikot Ekpenyong Okon, Essien Udim L.G.A., Akwa Ibom State
Deceased: Late Prophet Aniefiok Asuquo Aka, aged 56 years [29th May 1970 – 14th December 2025]

The funeral service was conducted by the church where the deceased worshipped while he was alive — African Apostolic Unity Mission, Ikot Ekpenyong Okon.

2. TACN OKU ABAK DISTRICT DELEGATION
A strong delegation from The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Oku Abak District, led by Elder Menyene-Abasi Akpan, Assistant District Secretary, attended the funeral service.

The delegation comprised:
1. Oku Abak Assembly Main Choir
2. District Youth Movement, led by Elder Menyene-Abasi Akpan, District Youth Leader
3. District Youth Choir, TACN Oku Abak District

The delegation came to support Mrs. Peace Ukpono Ndarake, a committed member of the Oku Abak District Youth Movement, and her family as they honoured the memory of her late father.

3. MINISTRATION & EXHORTATION
His Lordship Apostle Anthony Essien, the officiating minister, reminded the congregation that death is inevitable for all, citing Ecclesiastes 9:5, which states, “For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing. They have no further reward, and even their name is forgotten.”

He exhorted everyone to reflect on three key questions:
1. What has been your contribution to your community and family?
2. What have you achieved in life?
3. What legacy are you leaving behind, and what is your relationship with God?

He emphasized that when we depart this world, it should be said of us that we lived a life that honoured God and blessed humanity.
