The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Abia State Chapter, sincerely appreciates the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for the Christmas palliative support extended to grassroots communities.

The Christmas palliative was distributed by Rev Ojo Ojo Uduma the CAN Chairman of Abia State to the Block Leaders and the leadership of CAN in each of the 17 Local Government Areas of Abia State.

My heart is filled with gratitude to God that, in my lifetime and at such a time as this, I am privileged to connect with people of like minds—people who carry the mind of Christ. Together, we are committed to advancing the gospel in every way, reaching the unreached, giving generously, and encouraging one another, just as we see in the book of Acts.

I am sincerely thankful to Archbishop Dr. Emeka and Dr. Mercy Agwu for sharing this burden and vision. I pray that God, who is the rewarder of all, will bless and reward them abundantly.

The Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Abia State, Rev. Ojo Ojo Uduma, delivered an inspiring address at the 2025 Ohafia Local Government Area Champion of Champions Bible Quiz Competition. The event was hosted by ArchBishop Dr Emeka & Dr Mercy Agwu of Voice of Evangelism International and held on 29th December 2025.

In his address to the Bible quiz competitors, Rev. Ojo urged the young participants to fix their focus on Jesus Christ and to deploy their God-given talents in service to the Lord. He emphasized that such dedication would be especially beneficial at this critical stage of their lives, noting that many young people across the world are caught in confusion and moral instability.

Rev. Ojo further encouraged the Bible Football Competitors to keep their spiritual lights burning and to remain confident, reminding them not to allow anyone despise them because of their youth, in line with the exhortation in 1Timothy 4:12. Offering priestly and fatherly counsel, he strongly advised the young men to stay away from drug abuse, warning that it destroys individuals physically, emotionally and spiritually.

He concluded by pronouncing blessings upon the participants and expressed his desire to see the Bible Quiz Competition expanded and elevated to the state level.

We thank God for leading us through 2025 bringing us into the New Year🎄.

As we live our lives in this Year 2026, May we live like Christ would, having eternity in view.

The Blessings of the Lord shall abound to every household, every Church, the State and to the National. We will experience transformation on all side as the Lord leads us.

The Lord bless you and keep you, the Lord cause his face to shine upon you, the Lord will give you peace, he will give you rest.
We will experience favour like never before, doors will be created for our sake, doors will be opened for us.

At the end of the year we will look back and say The Lord Has Done It!
