GOODNEWS FROM THE JUST CONCLUDED RECHARGE CONFERENCE IN ABUJA

The National Director of mission, Rev. Ime Ekanem presented the first indigenous missionary, Evang. Elkanah Sunday from Shani LGA of Borno State, the first indigenous missionary from Fulani mission Evang. Adamu Ardo from Song LGA, Adamawa State and that of Gumel Mission Evang. Amos Jonah Maro from KaJuru LGA of Kaduna State to the Prelate and Moderator of the General Assembly.
The Prelate received them during the service at Abuja on behalf of the church and prayed for them.
With them, more indigenes from the three States will be coming to our church. Glory be to God.

Beloved in the Lord, this is what the Lord has done for us. We will on Sunday 6th July, 2025 receive a complete church building of over 500 members sitting capacity with over hundred members as the first PCN in Yala LGA, Ogoja Synod, Cross River State. The BOM and SEC members of Ogoja Synod will pay courtesy visits to the Village head of Ezekwe village and his cabinet members and Ezekwe community leaders on Saturday 5/7/25. Please support us with your prayers. O LORD, PLEASE, CONTINUE TO DO MORE FOR PCN, AMEN.

NOTICE FOR CHURCH PLANTING AND EVANGELISM

This is to notify Parishes, Presbyteries and Synods that the 2025 April mission month activities is out. This early notification is to enable Parishes, Presbyteries and Synods to add the mission month activities to their programmes. We are to embark on house to house evangelism, plant new churches and revive the existing mission stations. 10th of April is the pioneer Missionaries' rally day for all the Synods .Details are in this flyer.

FOUNDATION LAYING CEREMONY – A LANDMARK MOMENT IN OGWASHI-UKWU AND IBUSA MISSION PARISH, ASABA

A historic day for The Presbyterian Church of Nigeria as the foundation laying ceremony of the Ogwashi-Ukwu Mission Station, Delta State, was conducted by His Eminence, Ekpenyong N. Akpanika, PhD, represented by the National Director of Mission, Very Rev. Ime Ekanem.

In a remarkable display of collaboration between the church and government, His Excellency, Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori was represented at the service by Hon. Ejiro Etacherure, Commissioner, Bureau for Special Duties.

Also in attendance were:
- *Most Rev. Prof. Miracle Ajah*, Principal Clerk of the General Assembly, represented by Very Rev. Abraham Ndu, PA to the Principal Clerk.
- Most Rev. K. K. Uche, Synod Moderator.
- Rt. Rev. Davies T. Faleye, Synod Clerk.
- Members of CCN and other distinguished church leaders.

In addition to this milestone, the foundation was also laid in Ibusa, Asaba, marking the beginning of a new church building project. This expansion further reflects the church’s dedication to spreading the gospel and strengthening its presence in Delta State.

These milestones underscore a shared commitment to faith, community development, and service to humanity.

GOOD NEWS FROM BOARD OF MISSIONS

January 7, 2025, marked a historic milestone for the Board of Missions of the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria. The Fulani community of Mayor Dankeli generously donated over 20 plots of land in Song LGA, Adamawa State.

A NEW YEAR GIFT FOR PCN

This remarkable gift will facilitate the construction of essential facilities, including:

- Quality Schools: Providing access to education for the community.
- Hospital Facilities: Ensuring quality medical care for the community.
- Bore Holes: Supplying clean water to the community.

These projects will be undertaken in partnership with the United Christian Health Foundation, based in FairFax Station, Virginia, USA.

A FRUITFUL PARTNERSHIP

The donation was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) prepared by Barr. Oleh Miracle, the Legal Adviser of the North East Mission Synod.

Representatives from both parties signed the MOU:

- Fulani Community: Isa Kaoji (Chairman, Mayo Dankeli community), Hassan Ahmed, and Aliyu Muhammed (District Head of Ditera district).
- PCN Representatives: Elder Julius Nuhu Mimba (Trustee, North East Mission Synod), Rev. Ime Ekanem (National Director of Missions), and Rev. Engr. Okechuchwu Kalu (Synod Moderator, North East Synod).

A BRIGHTER FUTURE AHEAD

Dr. DAN Austin, representing the United Christian Health Foundation, assured the community that the foundation will work diligently to provide quality facilities, enabling access to better medical treatment and education.

The National Director of Missions, Rev. Ime Ekanem, officially notified the Executive Chairman of Song LGA, Adamawa State.
