Only One Life
Only one life—so brief, so fragile, so swiftly carried away on the silent wings of time.
Like the morning dew that glistens for a moment and vanishes at the rising of the sun, so is the life of man upon the earth.
We rise, we labour, we pursue shadows, yet eternity stands quietly at the door, waiting.
This one life is not given merely to be spent, but to be invested. Every breath is a seed, every moment a trust, every decision an echo that will resound beyond the grave.
Yet how often is this sacred gift wasted on things that can not follow us into eternity—riches that decay, pleasures that fade, honours that perish with the dust?
There is a solemn truth that presses upon the soul: we will not live twice to correct the errors of the first life. The opportunities before us now are passing—silently, steadily, irreversibly.
The voice of grace still calls, and the door of mercy still stands open, but it will not remain so forever.
What then shall be the end of this one life? Shall it dissolve into eternal regret or blossom into everlasting joy?
The answer is not hidden in fate but formed by the choices of the heart.
To live for self is to lose all; to live for God is to gain what death can not take away.
Therefore, consider your ways. Let this one life be laid upon the altar of truth. Turn from all that enslaves your soul.
Do you want to anchor your soul on faith in Christ Jesus in this broken world?
Come now and say this simple prayer:
Oh Lord Jesus, I am full of fear and broken in this world, but I want a ray of hope and a new beginning to total freedom.
Please, Lord Jesus, forgive me all my sins, deliver me, and restore wholeness to my soul.
Wash me with your precious blood, deliver me from these burdens, and give me a brand new life. I promise you, Lord, by your grace to live for You. Thank you, Lord. In your name, I pray... Amen.
The time to act is now!
