30 DAYS OF FAITH – DAY 2

Study Focus
1 Thessalonians 1:2–10
Acts 1:1
Matthew 5:13–16

"The Lord's message rang out from you not only in Macedonia and Achaia—your faith in God has become known everywhere. Therefore we do not need to say anything about it." — 1 Thessalonians 1:8 (NIV)

CHARGE

The greatest witness of the Church is not merely the volume of her preaching but the evidence of her transformed life.

Today, the noise of bloggers, the discontentment of critics, the arguments of skeptics, and the voices of social media antagonists seem to compete with the voice of the Gospel. Many are eager to find faults and failures in the Church in an attempt to discredit the message of Christ.

Yet, despite every opposition, the Church of Jesus Christ continues to advance.
Jesus Himself declared:
"I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it." (Matthew 16:18)
The believers in Thessalonica became an example because their faith was visible.
The Gospel did not merely reach them; it transformed them. Their lives preached Christ even before their mouths did.

Jesus also demonstrated this pattern.
Luke records "all that Jesus began both to do and to teach" (Acts 1:1). Notice the order: He first lived it, then taught it.

The power of the Church is not found only in sound doctrine but also in godly character. A holy life gives credibility to a powerful message.
As we continue these 30 Days of Faith, may our faith become known—not because of what we claim, but because of how we live.

Decree

We declare that no power from hell shall prevail against the Church of Jesus Christ.
Every weapon fashioned against the Church is broken in the name of Jesus.
The Gospel of Christ shall ring out from our lives, our homes, and our church into our city and beyond.
We declare that a church full of faith, power, holiness, and blameless character is rising in Jesus' name. Amen.

Prayer Focus

1. Pray that the Gospel will spread with power throughout our city.
Lord, let the message of Christ ring out from our church into every home, community, and institution. Confirm Your Word with signs following and draw many to salvation.

Pastor's CHARGE

"The prayer that will save you is the one prayed in faith in Christ Jesus."

These are words that should be written, framed, and displayed in every believer's room, so that we may see them, meditate on them, confess them, and live by them every day.

These were the exact words shared with me during a phone conversation two days ago with Bishop Wake Ajayi of Miracle Centre CGM, the church founded and pastored by the late Archbishop Benson Idahosa.

For the past few months, my laptop had been completely dead.

Yesterday, while arranging my room, I looked at it and felt how helpless the situation seemed. I picked it up, opened it, spoke over it in faith, and tried to boot it. Nothing happened.
I almost gave up.

Then something stirred strongly in my spirit. I prayed again, this time declaring that both living and non-living things can hear the voice of faith because all creation is subject to the authority of Christ.
Still, nothing happened.

I prayed a third time.

Then a fourth time.

On the fourth prayer, there was a sudden flash of light, and it went off again. I refused to quit. I prayed the fifth time, and the laptop booted up. Since then, it has continued to come on.

That same day, while returning home, I felt a strong leading to call a young lady in Lagos who had once sent me a love offering. I had never responded to her message. When she answered, she was surprised because she was preparing to go for a job interview. I prayed with her over the phone.

Today, I received her message: she got the job.
By the grace of God, I have seen the dead raised.
I have seen fibroids disappear.

I have seen debts supernaturally cleared.
I have witnessed what the prayer of faith can accomplish.

Today is your day to decide what you are trusting God for. Bring it before Him in faith.

Do not pray because you are afraid.

Do not pray because you are desperate.

Pray because you believe.
Jesus said:

"Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." — Mark 11:24

If you believe in Christ, then all things ar

*30 DAYS OF FAITH PRAYERS*

Beloved, for the next 30 days, we are setting ourselves apart as a community of faith to seek the face of God with one heart and one purpose.

This is not simply another church activity; it is a season of intentional pursuit of God. Throughout these 30 days, we will devote ourselves to three spiritual disciplines:

Prayer – Seeking God earnestly and standing in the gap for our lives, families, church, city, and nation.

Fasting – Humbling ourselves before God, denying the flesh, and giving ourselves to spiritual sensitivity.

The Word – Feeding daily on the Scriptures, allowing God's truth to renew our minds and strengthen our faith.

Our desire is that by the end of these 30 days, every member of our church family will have grown deeper in intimacy with Christ, stronger in faith, more disciplined in prayer, and more fruitful in every area of life.

To make this journey accessible to everyone, our meetings will be held both physically and online.

Weekly Schedule
Physical Gatherings (Church Auditorium)

Monday – 5:00 PM
Wednesday – 5:00 PM
Friday – 5:00 PM

Online Prayer Meetings_ 10:PM

Saturday

We encourage every member to participate consistently.

The strength of a praying church is found in the unity and consistency of its people.

As the early church "continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers" (Acts 2:42), we also commit ourselves to seeking the Lord together.
Come with expectation.
Come with faith. Come with a heart ready to hear God.
We believe He will transform lives, strengthen families, heal the broken, open doors, release fresh grace, and establish His purpose among us.

Anything that has the capacity to alter our person is something that needs a careful check. Sometimes we underestimate how deeply, our actions, attitudes and results can be greatly influenced by experiences in rejection.
