The teaching of Love in the gospel of John cannot be understood until one has received the nature of the father. John 15;9 Jesus said,” Even as the father has loved me, I also have loved you. Abide ye in my love”.
He wants us to live in his love just has you have lived in the love of that man or that woman. He is living in the father’s love, and he wishes us to live in his love. If we live in love, we begin to bear fruits of love. The fruit of love will be in the actions and the conduct and the words that are born of love. The days of hating, of jealousy, of bitterness and revenge have past.
A NEW ORDER HAS COME
A new day has dawned. It is the Love day. A woman said, “I cannot make you understand the transformation that has come into our home. There was always irritation and friction. This brought out sharp words, sometimes much bitter thought. But since we received eternal life, there has come a tenderness, a beauty of life, and a sweetness of expression that affected the children as well as my husband and myself. We are living in a Love realm. “The other night, my husband said after he had been home a little while from the office; “ How beautiful our home has become, because each one is making a contribution of love. The children are more thoughtful. They feel the new sweet atmosphere of love, and they respond to it; mother is different, daddy is different”.
A little boy once said, “Daddy, I wish you would have the Jesus kind of love. That would make mama and me so happy”. This Jesus kind of love is the answer to the heart cry of childhood, of youth, of manhood, and of old age. It will take the bitterness out of the heart and soften the lines of the face. It will make the husband and wife more than content with their own home.
This love is a home builder and a home preserver. This is God’s method of protecting marriage. This is God’s method of protecting childhood and motherhood.
