Thursday prayer group as Holy Cross was founded in the year 1994 during the time of late Msgr Ralph Nwaosu as parish priest by Ezinne Nneoma Charity Onuoha who was the president of St Theresa's Catholic women organization and founder of Thursday prayer group Holy Cross parish Umuocham Aba.she Coordinated the activities of the prayer group as a coordinator while Bro Simeon Ekwugha worked with her as assistant coordinator from the year 1994 to the year 2014 when she left for Ekpoma on God's call E.g Orphanage of the Holy Spirit Maryland Egoro Amade Ekpoma

Our weekly programmes includes
1. General prayer every Thursday from 8 am to 1 pm with celebration of mass.
2. Counselling/prayer every Tuesday 9am to 12noon.
3. Worker's vigil/indoor prayer once in a month.
