The Memorial Prayer left a profound impression with beautifully arranged altars, filled with offerings of sweets and snacks prepared with great care. These were more than just offerings; they were symbols of the collective love and devotion of the community.

In the solemn atmosphere, the chanting of sacred verses dedicated to ancestors and departed souls brought tears of emotion to many. It was a moment where the bond between the living and the deceased was strengthened through filial piety and the heartfelt wish for their peaceful rebirth. ✨🕊️

REFUGE-TAKING CEREMONY: THE BEGINNING OF A SPIRITUAL JOURNEY ✨

Within the solemn atmosphere of The Dharma Retreat, the Refuge-Taking ceremony was far more than a mere ritual; it was a profound spiritual moment where practitioners deeply reflected on the significance of seeking guidance in the Triple Gem.

Notably, during this retreat, many participants wholeheartedly took their vows to officially become children of the Buddha, committing themselves to living and practicing according to the path of wisdom taught by the Blessed One.

Understanding that taking refuge is a return to the Triple Gem—finding a steadfast sanctuary amidst the ebbs and flows of life—each vow made by the practitioners became even more resolute. This ceremony marked a pivotal turning point, illuminating the path of self-transformation in mindfulness. 🙏

SITTING MEDITATION: PRACTICING THE AUTHENTIC PATH OF THE BUDDHA 🧘‍♂️✨

A pivotal part of The Dharma Retreat was the two sitting meditation sessions, offering practitioners a chance to cultivate deep stillness. Under the direct and compassionate guidance of the Venerable Monks, everyone practiced the authentic meditation methods taught by the Buddha, allowing the mind to let go of distractions and achieve clarity. 🙏

Within the serene atmosphere of Ti-Ratana Heights, hundreds of seekers joined together in mindfulness. By observing the breath and mastering the mind according to the path passed down by the Great Teacher, each individual learned to recognize and release the clinging ego, discovering a state of true inner peace. 🕯️🌿
