《木斯塘佛教大学》 是一所位于 ‘尼泊尔’～‘木斯塘’的学校，‘木斯塘’ 是一个非常殊圣而且很特别的圣地，远之古代 ‘木斯塘’ 便以培养出许多伟大的佛教学者和修行者而闻名，但是非常可惜到了17世纪末，几乎所有位于‘木斯塘’的寺院和佛学研究所遭遇严重的衰退。一直到2001年初，尊贵的41任萨迦法王萨迦贡玛·赤钦仁波切尊者首次历史性地访问了 ‘木斯塘’ 地区，在他的祝福和指导下，寺院的学术活动才逐渐恢复起来。
经过20年的努力，‘木斯塘’ 地区的萨迦寺院也渐渐恢复，僧侣也慢慢增长起来，终于在2021年，‘木斯塘‘ 地区所有萨迦寺院的仁波切、堪布和负责人经过多次讨论后，达成一致，携手创办《木斯塘佛教大学》，并在在 ‘木斯塘下部’，租赁一座大楼开始了这神圣的使命，经过了3年的努力，学生人数逐年的增加，原先的学院建筑已经无法容纳所有学生了，因此去年的夏天学院不得不，暂时搬至 ‘博卡拉’ 继续营运，这样的运作方式不但消耗营运成本，给学生和老师带来不便，对学习的进度也产生一定的影响，绝对不是长久之计。
为了大学长远稳固的发展，学生能得到良好的教育 ｛木斯塘萨迦佛教协会第4届执行委员会成员｝决定，启动筹建～木斯塘佛教大学大楼。尽管对未来的愿景充满乐观，但也确实存在一些困难，由于要应付日常运营成本，在筹集建设学院大楼所需的资金实在缺乏，导致《木斯塘佛教大学》已经启动超过3年，学院大楼至今仍未开始。
2025年尊贵的41任萨迦法王萨迦贡玛·赤钦仁波切更是回应｛木斯塘萨迦佛教协会第4届执行委员会成员｝的请求，慈悲地为大学的大楼项目撰写了一封支持信，祈愿所有善良而慷慨的施主们给予援助，我们也有幸私下接收到此信函的加持与鼓励。
所以现在 ｛木斯塘萨迦佛教协会第4届执行委员会成员｝ 趁着学校假期，组成一个僧团，前来弘法，为信众祈福修法，同时筹募学院大楼建筑基金，在此希望所有善良和慷慨的捐助者能够伸出援手，支持 《木斯塘佛教大学》的学院建设项目，帮助实现木斯塘佛教学院大楼的梦想，
由于此项目得到了尊贵的41任萨迦法王萨迦贡玛·赤钦仁波切尊者的祝福和支持，所有支持此项目的捐助者，皆能得到无量的祝福与无量的功德利益，所以让我们一起携手达成愿望，早日圆满 《木斯塘佛教大学》 的学院大楼，以助佛教事业，让佛教兴旺，传遍三界，利益十方众生，行佛弟子行也。
Mustang Buddhist College is a school located in Mustang, Nepal. Mustang is a very sacred and special holy land. Since ancient times, Mustang has been renowned for producing many great Buddhist scholars and practitioners. Unfortunately, by the end of the 17th century, nearly all the monasteries and Buddhist institutions in Mustang had fallen into serious decline.
It wasn’t until early 2001 that His Holiness the 41st Sakya Gongma Trichen Rinpoche, made a historic visit to Mustang. With his blessings and guidance, academic activities in the monasteries slowly began to revive.
After 20 years of effort, the Sakya monasteries in Mustang have gradually been restored, and the number of monks has been increasing. Finally, in 2021, after many discussions among the Rinpoches, Khenpos, and leaders of all the Sakya monasteries in Mustang, they agreed to jointly establish Mustang Buddhist College . They rented a building in Lower Mustang to begin this sacred mission. After three years of hard work, the number of students has continued to grow, and the original campus building can no longer accommodate them all. Therefore, in the summer of last year, the university had to temporarily relocate to Pokhara to continue operations.
However, this arrangement not only increased operational costs but also caused inconvenience to both students and teachers and affected the progress of their studies. It is not a sustainable long-term solution.
For the long-term and stable development of the college and to provide students with a quality education, the 5th Executive Committee of the Mustang Sakya Buddhist Association has decided to launch the construction of the college building. Although we are optimistic about the future, we also face many challenges. Due to the need to cover daily operational costs, there is a significant lack of funds for the college's construction, and even though the project started over three years ago, the building construction has yet to begin.
In 2025, His Holiness the 41st Sakya Gongma Trichen Rinpoche, compassionately responded to the request of the 5th Executive Committee, writing a heartfelt letter of support for the college building project. He also expressed prayers and blessings, hoping that all kind and generous benefactors will offer their support. We were fortunate to receive this letter privately, gaining blessings and encouragement from it.
Therefore, now, the 5th Executive Committee of the Mustang Sakya Buddhist Association has organized a tour led by Khenpo Jamyang Sangpo with four different Mustang Monastic monks to spread the Dharma, perform blessing ceremonies, and raise funds for the college's building project. We sincerely hope that all kind and generous donors will extend a helping hand to support the construction of Mustang Buddhist College, helping to realize the dream of building the college's permanent campus.
Since this project has received the blessings and support of His Holiness the 41st Sakya Gongma Trichen Rinpoche, all who support this endeavor will receive boundless blessings and merit. Let us join hands to fulfill this aspiration and complete the construction of Mustang Buddhist College as soon as possible, to advance the Buddha’s teachings, spread the Dharma throughout the three realms, benefit sentient beings in all directions, and truly walk the path of a disciple of the Buddha.
