Since 2020,
we have reached out into the community by distributing aid supplies and engaging with people.
Step by step, we invited them to join Happiness Groups and community gatherings,
and gradually guided them into the Fujian Sunday service.
Most of them come from the B40 group.
They may have stepped into church for the very first time
because of a packet of relief supplies;
but more importantly,
they have truly experienced the love of God here.
Among them, many have come to believe in the Lord and be baptized,
becoming our true family in Christ.
Most of these members
come to church by motorcycle,
some by bicycle;
and a portion require church-arranged transportation in order to attend services.
Some families of three share one job, earning only RM120 a month;
some people earn as little as RM5 a day.
Some who come to church are able to eat meals provided by the church,
which are more abundant than what they can normally afford.
When rice is given, they still need to buy vegetables to go with it;
instead, they would prefer instant noodles—
add an egg, and that becomes a meal.
Among them,
some were injured at work,
but due to low education levels,
they do not know how to apply for SOCSO,
cannot read or understand the process, and have no one to help them.
Some had motorcycle tire punctures
but had no money to replace them;
some could not even pay their utility bills.
They are a group of people
who truly exist among us,
yet are often overlooked and marginalized by society.
But they are not just “uncle and auntie by the roadside”;
they are our neighbours,
the people God has entrusted us to love.
The Lord asks us:
Are we willing to give even a cup of water
to the least of these brothers and sisters?
And as a church in this community,
we have both the ability and the responsibility
to be their warmth and companionship.
Their offerings may be small,
but they are their “two small coins” (Luke 21:2),
given from a heart that is simple and sincere.
What we are doing
is the mission of PCC:
