Sri Mangala Nayagi Amman Temple Matang Sri Mangala Nayagi Amman Temple Matang. Sri Mangala Nayagi Amman Temple is proudly located in the centre of Matang town. It is now more than 150 years old.

It was established in the year 1862 by our forefathers who came to then Malaya. The first Kumbabhishegam (Consecration Ceremony) was held in 1915. The second till the sixth Kumbabhishegam was held in 1923, 1932, 1939, 1988 and 2001 respectively.
