[ENG] One of the things tourists usually do when staying in Malaysia for a long time is visit a mosque. That’s exactly what these two PhD students from Hebei did during their time here. After visiting many mosques in Kuala Lumpur, they made their way to the Crystal Mosque before continuing their vacation on Redang Island. In the future, they plan to continue their mosque tour travels, collecting more memories and learning about the cultural diversity in Malaysia.

[ENG] “Why do all Muslims need to go for Hajj?”

“What is the difference between Hajj and Umrah?”

“What is Mazhab?”

These were some of the thoughtful questions asked by the tourist from Johor during their mosque visit. We were happy to share and explain to them about the beauty of Islamic teachings, traditions, and the unity of Muslims around the world. May this meaningful exchange inspire greater understanding, curiosity, and appreciation for Islam and its beautiful values.

[ENG] "I feel that this state has a different vibe, and it is very clean here. What my friends told me about Terengganu is very different from what I personally experienced here,” commented a lady from Kuala Lumpur during her visit to Terengganu.

As tour guides, moments like this remind us that the best way to understand a place is to experience it with your own eyes. Beyond the beautiful mosques, beaches, and food, visitors also discover the warmth, hospitality, and peaceful atmosphere of Terengganu. Every guest comes with different expectations, but many leave with unforgettable memories and a new perspective about this beautiful state.

[ENG] We had the pleasure of hosting Nonoko, an exchange student from Japan currently studying at USM. This was her very first visit to a mosque. She was captivated by its unique architecture and spent over an hour taking photos and asking insightful questions. Her openness to learning about Islam was truly inspiring.

[ENG] “What does this mean?” asked the two girls from Johor Bahru as they read through the pamphlet about women’s rights in Islam.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, “Whoever Allah has given two daughters and is kind towards them, they will be a means for him entering Paradise.”

In Islam, women were never meant to be oppressed, but rather protected, respected honoured, and valued. A mother, especially, holds one of the greatest influences in raising a child and shaping a successful society. Therefore, it is only right that Islam honour and raise the status of women.

[ENG] Yesterday, a Chinese guest from Klang asked us whether Islam discourages accumulating or gaining wealth and focuses only on worshipping God, because he had heard some Muslims say that.

So we explained that in Islam, wealth itself is neither forbidden nor discouraged. In fact, Islam encourages Muslims to earn wealth through halal means, work hard, conduct business honestly, and use wealth responsibly. Islam teaches balance: earn wealth in a halal way, be grateful, avoid extravagance, and use wealth for good purposes.

We also welcomed a family from Switzerland and a few tourists from China. Alhamdulillah.

Alhamdulillah.

[ENG] Photo of a Sabahan lady with her friends from France and the United Kingdom. The Sabahan lady asked some questions about umrah and hajj during the tour.

"Why do Muslims need to finish reading the whole Quran during Ramadan?"

What is the difference between Umrah and Hajj?"

"How many days do Muslims go for Hajj?"
