Venerable Bodhiñāņa will be visiting DMC on Sat, 20th June and accepting lunch offerings at the centre to conclude Venerable’s recent Dhamma Earth's Dhamma Duta trip, before leaving for Thailand.
There will be ~ 4 Venerables and 3 Sayalays accompanying Ven. Bodhiñāņa scheduled to arrive at DMC around 9:30-10am.
Ven. Bodhiñāņa has accepted DMC’s invitation to give a Dhamma talk to DMC’s residents and devotees at 10am at Dhamma Vimāna (Male buildings upper hall) .
For the benefits of the mandarin speaking devotees, Venerable U Mangala has accepted DMC’s invitation to assist in the translation of the English Dhamma talk to Chinese.
If conditions allowed, there maybe informal session held after lunch @ 1:15pm at Dhamma Vimāna, for devotees to pay respect, perform allowable requisites offering to and/or seeking Dhamma guidance from both Ven. U Mangala & Ven. Bodhiñāņa.

Venerable Bodhiñāṇa's Biography[*]
Venerable Bodhiñāṇa was born on December 23, 1965, in Lopburi, Thailand.
* He graduated from Silpakorn University with a Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
* Later obtained a Master of Business Administration from the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA).
* Before entering monastic life, he served as the manager of Banjongrat School and was the president of the "Jaisai Club" (Good Heart Club).
**Ordination & Training Journey:**
* Novice Ordination: On 14th Mar 2012, at the age of 46, he was ordained as a sāmaṇera (novice monk) under the Bodhi Tree in Bodh Gaya, India.
* Preceptor:Phra Rachrattanarangsee (Veerayut Veerayuttho).
* Training Period (2012–2013):He trained under Phra Ajarn Somthop Parakkamo at Wat Klang in Suphanburi, Thailand. During this period, he also participated in meditation courses based on the Visuddhimagga (The Path of Purification).
* He specialized in Ānāpānasati (mindfulness of breathing) and received guidance from Sayadaw U Revata in Chiang Mai.
**Higher Ordination:**
* On 20th July 2013, he received full ordination as a bhikkhu, with Venerable U Subhoga (Pakhokku Sayadaw) serving as his preceptor.
**Intensive Meditation Practice:**
* He later traveled to Pa-Auk Forest Monastery in Mawlamyine, Myanmar, where he underwent two years of intensive meditation training.
* Subsequently, he continued his advanced practice at the Pyin Oo Lwin branch monastery in Myanmar under the guidance of the Most Venerable Pa-Auk Sayadaw during the 4th, 6th, 7th, and 10th years of his ordination.
**Current Role as Meditation Teacher:**
* Venerable has been appointed by the Most Venerable Pa-Auk Tawya Sayadaw to teach samatha and intermediate vipassanā (insight meditation) at the Angthong International Meditation Center in Thailand.
* Publications: Worth to Think About, "50 Years of Life", "The Mind of Wisdom", "Exploring the Path to Liberation", "Becoming Happiness".
* Dhamma Platforms: He shares daily teachings through "Phra Ruj 5 Minutes Daily Dhamma" on Facebook and YouTube via the Jaisai Club channel by regularly delivering Dhamma talks at Jaisai Club and Banjongrat School in Lopburi, promoting the practice of Dhamma and mindful living.
