While staying on the banks of Mother Ganga in Rishikesh, I captured this moment. The whole experience felt subtle, calm, and unbelievably serene as I watched the sacred Ganga flow past.

“When you take water from the Ganga and pour it back into the Ganga, you're not “giving” or “adding” anything, you’re simply returning what was always part of the same vast, unbroken flow. That simple act reflects the heart of Advaita, the oneness between the individual and the ultimate reality. In this view, Ganga isn’t just a river, she’s Jnana, pure knowledge. The drop you take is like the jīva, the individual self; the river is Brahman, the infinite. When the drop merges back, nothing changes for the river, but everything changes for the drop. It realizes, “I was never separate.” In that moment, the illusion of duality dissolves. That’s the quiet, powerful teaching encoded in this ritual. Knowledge doesn’t “come” from outside, it awakens when the mind realizes its source, just like the water returning to Ganga”

Sri Swami Sivananda Tapasya - Visiting this place, the very ground where the Vedanta parampara took root again in modern era after Swami Sivananda left Malaya-1923. The silence wasn’t empty; it was loaded with centuries of wisdom, discipline, seekers and teachers who came before us. The place is on the far other side of the DLS HQ. Being at the very spot where the seeking were nurtured, questioned, and realised felt like reconnecting to the backbone of our own inner journey. It reminded me that Vedanta teaching didn’t start in books, it started in places like this, with real people doing real sadhana - tapasā brahmacaryeṇa śraddhayā vidyayā as echoed in Prashna Upanishad. Swamiji performed tapas here from 1924-1934. Om.

The unseen blessing that comes from living and sharing the timeless wisdom of the Gītā… the sacred Vṛndāvan parikramā — what a mahā-prasād!

To walk where Krishna’s own footsteps still linger is no small grace. In those winding paths, beneath the soft Vṛndāvan sky, joy seems to rise naturally — unforced, effortless. And in every passing breeze there is the sweetness of Rādhā, that tender presence of love that makes the whole journey fragrant.

May such gentle blessings of love and light continue to guide all who walk the path, with humility in their steps and devotion in their hearts.
