Sree Sivan Thirukovil Sivan Temple Sree Sivan Thirukovil is located at former tin mining region of Ulu Bernam, Hulu Selangor nearby Ladang Es**rt.

It was founded in 1969 by Mr.Sinnayapan and family for the religious need / benefit of tin mining workers and Hindu community around Hulu Selangor and Tanjong Malim. The primary deities are Lord Siva, Goddess Kaliamman and Muniswarar.

Very kind YDP of Majlis Daerah Hulu Selangor helped to correct there error found in their earlier review. The said land is not zoned for the use of JPJ. The new review also been sent to Pejabat Tanah Hulu Selangor on 30th July 2012.

Plan Rancangan Tempatan Daerah Hulu Selangor 2020 No Warta 142. Dated 20 Jan 2011 shows the land been applied is gazetted for housing. Is this a careless mistake?? . Or Is there any culprit doesn't want the temple to build at the said location?. Lot 243 is in Orange (Housing)
