FLIP FLOP to the WORLD (formerly Flip Flop to Nigeria) was founded in 2012 by Spruce Dickerson. The mission of this charity is to collect new flip flops and distribute throughout the world, providing protection for feet in helping prevent disease and infections; while at the same time, giving Hope, Love, and Encouragement to those in need. The collection campaign is held annually in Central Texas
from June 1 - August 31, with donations received from throughout the United States, as well. The support of local businesses hosting collection barrels and community collection efforts including Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, schools, pageants, churches, drive the campaign to success with over 5,100 flip flops donated, processed, and shipped!
