Guadalajara Impact Trip Day 1
Steve and I got to help lead a marriage date night conference for Iglesia Radiante.
If you haven’t read the book: Marriage on the Rock- DO IT! Steve and I the opportunity to share the 4 foundational laws of marriage from the book:
👉🏼The Law of Priority: my spouse needs to be the most important human relationship on earth
👉🏼The Law of Possession: when you get married EVERY area of your life is EQUAL ownership. Physically, mentally, spiritually, emotionally.
👉🏼The law of Pursuit: Put the work in daily. Are you doing what you did when you first met your spouse. We need to be daily pursuing our husbands/wife.
👉🏼The Law of Purity: We need to be NAKED in every area of our marriage not holding anything back. We need safeguards in our marriage and complete vulnerability without making our spouse feel shame or guilt.
There is so so much more to this book and it has been a huge impact on the process of healing our marriage after 10 years of doing it completely wrong and almost getting a divorce.
So cool to see God move in marriages and dating couples’ hearts at this event that we were honored to be part of! We are 100% not public speakers but I was reminded today that Steve and I have grown so much in our marriage looking back to our level of emotional connection last year to this year. Holding Steve’s hand on stage and sharing to the best of our abilities and relying on the Holy Spirit to move in hearts was an absolute blessing.
Thanking God for the opportunity to serve along side our mentors , Jeff and Angie Gurisco and the team at Iglesia Radiante’s team too! I can not emphasize enough how imperative is to have marriage mentors in your life.
So thankful for the opportunity to be here!! Thank uou to each and every person who made it possible for us to go on this trip!! You share in the blessing and are a part of every seed that is being planted!!!
