Thank you for praying for our exam on Tuesday!! 🙏
🎉… As seen in the photo, we were tired after much studying but so grateful to the Lord for passing our Doctrinal Exam with the Executive Director of ABWE. We had such an edifying time studying the Scriptures to intentionally learn doctrine that we will continue to do this! We know it will be a blessing to the ministry and our lives. God’s Word works powerfully when it is shared unashamedly and lived out!
📖 One of Aliza’s favorite chapters out of this time and experience has been Ephesians 1 and rejoicing over the spiritual blessings God has given us after uniting us with Christ. He has adopted us as members of His family, and purchased our freedom with the blood of Christ. It says He delighted to do all of this and that the purpose of our life is to praise and give glory to His name. 🌟
📖 What sticks out the most to Carlos has been the absolute necessity we have for God’s grace due to our sinful human condition, and what is called depravity. Romans 3 describes how not one person is just or right or seeks out God on his or her own accord. Despite this grim reality, He is abounding in grace and draws us to Himself. His Son is the remedy for our sin problem, and this is the gospel we preach.
