Today we celebrate moms around the world—especially those rising with strength, resilience, and love in the face of hardship.

At Forgotten Children Worldwide, empowerment means more than temporary relief. It means walking alongside women many of them single mothers—as they gain the tools, training, and confidence to build sustainable futures for themselves and their children.

Mothers like Chimwemwe in Malawi, who once described her life as “miserable.” With no income and two children to care for on her own, she felt stuck—until she joined an FCW-supported empowerment program and started a clothing business.

Today, Chimwemwe our graduated beneficiary is thriving.
She says “I have kids, and I can take care of them… I’m independent… I’m more than happy!”

This is what happens when dignity meets opportunity. đź’›

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there—biological, spiritual, and chosen—who love fiercely and fight daily for their children’s futures.
