HOW CAN ONE KNOW THAT THEY ARE RETROGRESSING?

Know that Satan will keep you near a place of destruction and leave you there. Once there he will do everything possible so that you are destroyed and this is how you will know you are on your way to destruction:

1. Lack of hunger, love and passion for God
2. Self glorification/self centeredness
3. Consistent , ever increasing and compromise of your values and Godly standards

2 Corinthians 5:17

When you get born again/give your life to Christ your spirit gets recreated/regenerated, the old you is gone you become brand new(it's like you never existed before, you have started existing now). The fact that you have committed a sin at some point doesn't make you a sinner, you are still a child of God and He loves you. You don't have to offer a prayer like Lord I am a sinner, you are not a sinner because the nature of sin is no longer in you

IS IT WRONG FOR A BELIEVER TO TAKE PART IN POLITICS/ TO BE A POLITICIAN?

Well, this is another subject which people have debated on without having a concrete conclusion.
Many people have even concluded that politics is a dirty game, but is it really? Being a believer politician is okay and very right because politics was started by God himself that's why He extended his government here on earth so that we reign and rule. Politics is not a dirty, it's the people involved in politics who are dirty. For example, there are soldiers who steal, lie, kill etc , should it be concluded that being in military is bad? Probably NO, it's the people in military who are bad not the profession itself. A believer in politics should be a PLUS not vice versa, if you make a decision of be in active politics make a decision to change the image of believers in politics, don't be at the fore front stealing, lying, killing etc

WHY DO BAD THINGS HAPPEN TO GOOD PEOPLE?

This is one of the questions many have been asking without having a satisfying answer. Well, the fact that you are good or a believer doesn't exempt you from experiencing bad things, below are some of the main reasons why even good people have bad experiences:

1. We live in a fallen and corrupted world. The world became fallen after Adam's disobedience.
2. Violation of laws and principles. God set aside some principles which are to govern our living on this earth, for example the law of giving. If you don't give you won't receive in return no matter how good you are.
3. Insensitivity or disobedience to the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit speaks to us every minute and every hour, at times he will warn you and if you disobey him you are likely to face the consequences and these consequences are usually bad in nature. For example he will tell you not to steal, if you go ahead and steal once you are caught you are either stoned to death or imprisoned and you can't blame God in this case saying he has forsaken me.

HOW DOES THE DEVIL ATTACK BELIEVERS?

When you get born again it's like you have provoked the devil, it will require stamina and zeal to remain. He will fire problem after problem and he mainly does this by inflicting fear on you. For example: from nowhere you find yourself afraid of death, he will remind you how your friend or people are dying in road accidents, he will remind you how someone died of cancer and any small illness in you you will think it is cancer. The devil will attack your mind before he can come in to cause more problems and you overcome him by meditating and confessing God's word , for example if you have thoughts like I think I have cancer tell the devil that you are made whole in Jesus name, I shall not die but live. Tell him that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me if the devil tells you that you can't do that business

Many people have missed their opportunities and blessings due to lack of discernment, God has spoken to them several times but could hardly hear him. It takes your willingness to step out as you hear him speak, praying to God for a business but not willing to start one will make you conclude that God doesn't answer prayers. Understand that God answers prayers by giving you new ideas, as you step up and implement those ideas that's when God steps in, don't expect God to step in when you are unwilling to step out. At times victory won't look like victory, breakthrough won't look like it but in God's eyes it is.

At times you will pray and fast for the good treatment at your work place but the situation not changing at all, instead getting worse, with the presence of peace in your life know that that's victory
