*7 Characteristics of an Intercessor*

*1. Intercessors see and hear things through God’s eyes.*

Seeing things through God’s eyes is different than seeing the world with our eyes
Only when we are able to see the world and it’s situations as God sees them, can we get the burden for intercessory prayer (Neh 1:1-5)

*2. Intercessors are broken men and women of God.*

The things that we see through God’s eyes may break our hearts. What breaks God’s heart must break ours. Only then can true intercession begin.
God’s Prophets were all broken men. (Jer 8:21)

*3. Intercessors do not use God for their own benefit when they pray. Instead, they allow God to use them.*

Intercessors can become God’s channels of blessing to others. Abraham was called of God not only to be blessed but also to be a blessing.

*4. Intercessors are marked by God (Eze 9: 1-5)*

God takes note of Intercessors Daniel was called ‘ greatly beloved’ by God, after he began interceding for his people.
The Angel put a mark on the foreheads of those who mourn for the land.

*5. Intercessors are called to lead a disciplined and holy life.*

God will not hear us when we hide unrepented sin in our lives.

*6. Intercessors are great givers of their time and money.*

Prayer and good deeds go together. (Isa. 37)

*7. Intercessors can change the mind of God!*

Moses changed God’s mind. (Ex 32:32, Ps 106:23)

If the nation intercedes with repentance, God will forgive the nation and heal the land. (2 Chr 7:14).

*Deuteronomy 10:12*

Ndipo tsopano, Israele, Yehova Mulungu wanu afunanji nanu, koma kuti muziopa Yehova Mulungu wanu, kuyenda m'njira zake zonse, ndi kukonda, ndi kutumikira Yehova Mulungu wanu ndi mtima wanu wonse ndi moyo wanu wonse.

*Afunanji nanu Yehova?*

Abale ndi alongo, Yehova akutiuzira mayeso a chifuniro Chake pamoyo wathu? Tisangoyenda ulendowu osadziwa zomwe mwini ulendo akufuna kwaife. Baibulo likutionetsa kuti Yehova akufuna izi pa wina aliyense wotchula dzina lake:

*1. Kumuopa Iye*

Kumuopa Yehova ndiko kuchita zomwe amafuna tizichita ndi kusachita zomwe safuna kuti tizichita. Ndiko kuchita chifuniro Chake nthawi zonse. Ndiko kusankha kumusangalatsa iye osati munthu.

*2. Kuyenda mnjira zake zonse*

Mulungu akutionetsera njira zake kudzera mmawu ake. Sakufuna tiziyenda mnjira zathu kapena zawina aliyense angakhale wodziwika bwanji. Sakufuna kuti tiziyenda mu zina mwanjira zake koma akuti tiyende mnjira zake zonse. Sitikuyenera kusankhapo ayi koma tichite chilichonse chomwe iyeyo afuna.

*3. Kukonda ndi kumtumikira mwathunthu*

Yehova akufuna ifeyo timukonde chifukwa anayamba kutikonda ndiyeyo tikadali chichimwire. Ngati timkonda Yehova timtumikira ndi mtima wathu wonse ndi moyo wathu wonse.

Yehova safuna kumtumikira moyerekeza. Tiyeni timtumikire mosakakamizika kapena monyinyirika. Tiyeni timtumikire mosayang'ana kuti ena akutani.

*Mulungu atithandize kuti mu 2022 tisatanganidwe ndi zogwetsa ntchito ya Mulungu koma tikhale busy kumanga*

1 Ndipo zitatha izi, Nahasi mfumu ya ana a Amoni anamwalira, ndi mwana wake anakhala mfumu m'malo mwake. 2Ndipo Davide anati, Ndidzamchitira zokoma mtima Hanuni mwana wa Nahasi, popeza atate wake anandichitira ine zokoma mtima. Momwemo Davide anatuma mithenga imtonthoze mtima pa atate wake. Pofika anyamata ake a Davide ku dziko la ana a Amoni kwa Hanuni kumtonthoza mtima, 3akalonga a ana a Amoni anati kwa Hanuni, Davide ali kuchitira atate wanu ulemu kodi, popeza anakutumizirani otonthoza? Sakudzerani kodi anyamata ake kufunafuna, ndi kugubuduza, ndi kuzonda dziko? 4Ndipo Hanuni anatenga anyamata a Davide, nawameta, nadula malaya ao pakati kufikira m'matako, nawaleka achoke.

*Tisabwezere chipongwe pa zokoma zomwe tachitiridwa*

_Davide anapanga chiganizo chochitira zokoma Hanuni kamba ka zokoma zomwe bambo ake anamchitira Davide.

_Tiphunzire kukumbukira omwe anatichitira zokoma munyengo yomwe tinali mmavuto. Siuzimu kusayamika pa zokoma zomwe ena atichitira.

_Davide anali ndi mtima wokumbukira zokoma zomwe ena anamchitira. Anamkumbukira Mefiboseti kamba ka zokoma zomwe Davide anamchitira.

_Pali anthu ambiri omwe anatichitira zokoma mmoyo wathu. Kodi tinayamba taganizapo zochita kenakake kwaiwo kapena abale awo kusonyeza kuyamikira kwathu?

_Chomvetsa chisoni mnkhaniyi nchoti mmalo moti Hanuni alandire kuthokoza kwa Davide, anabwezera chipongwe amithenga ake.

_ Mmoyo uno sinthawi zonse zomwe omwe tikuwachitira chokoma amayamika. Mmalo mwake amatibwezera chipongwe. Izi sizabwino.

_Zitha kukhala kuti tikupereka kuthokoza kwathu kuchokera pansi pamtima wathu koma oyenera kulandirawo nkuzithandauzira kuti tikufuna zina zake. Tiyeni tiphunzire kuti sinthawi zonse munthu amayamikira zomwe tamuchitira

_Koma ngati a Khristu tikhale anthu oyamika pamene tachitiridwa chokoma ndi ena.

Job 5:8

TO WHOM DO YOU PRESENT YOUR CASE?

In this life we there are situations which definitely need solutions be it in our marriage, church, nation, career, etc.

It is in us that when we face situations, we are inclined to seek someone with whom we can share what we are facing.

Brethren, to whom do you present your case/situation/issues/problem?

I know that many of us have ever presented our issues to people who have ended up embarrassing us without providing any solution.

Job is saying that if he was you, he would have gone to God and present his case.

God never runs out of ideas or solutions. He never embarrasses us instead of helping us. He has the expertise to deal with any problem you may face. He will deal with your situation while maintaining your dignity.

I would like to encourage someone today. You are heavyladden, depressed, stressed and you are hopeless. Your case is not hopeless. Bring it to the Righteous Judge and he will meticulously deal with it.

Whatever you are facing, take it to God in prayer.

33 “This is what the Sovereign lord says: When I cleanse you from your sins, I will repopulate your cities, and the ruins will be rebuilt.

Ezekiel 36:33

Brethren, from the scripture above, we see the consequences of sin, it's remedy and the benefits of a sin free life.

Sin causes desolation. In the above scripture we see that because of sin, the city became desolate and without people (or without a lot of them). Sin we ruin your life, career, marriage, business , etc whether you like it or not.

Sin dismantles. It will dismantle love, trust, care, happiness, etc. You can't be living a sinful life and expect a holistic life. Sin will automatically disfigure your life and render it destitute.

However, the good news is that we have a master repairer, master builder, master renovator: Our God through Jesus Christ! No matter how disfigured you have become as a result of the punches of sin, there is Jesus who is calling you to come to him as you are. He will cleanse your sin through his blood shed on the cross. He will rebuild you and your life will become meaningful yet again.

Repent and be in good terms with God. Sin must be cleansed and not clothed with sweet sounding names. Sin remains sin until it is confessed and forgiven.
