Mr. Gareth Osman preached at Mteteza CCAP in Area 49 on the topic, โAwakening the Holy Spirit Within.โ
Mr. Osman said that the most important person in oneโs life is not a boss or someone they love, but the Holy Spirit.
โAs Christians, we know that Jesus is our Savior, and we cannot do anything without the Holy Spirit. If you are a born-again Christian, know that you have the Holy Spirit because God gives Him to us,โ he explained.
Mr. Osman further said that the same power that resurrected Jesus Christ is the same power that lives within us. There is a fountain of life inside us, and this is only possible if we have received the Holy Spirit.
โAs Christians, we should not fear because what we carry is more powerful than what we fear. If you have anger in your heart, you end up pushing the Holy Spirit away,โ Mr. Osman added.
Mr. Osman advised the church that there are many ways to activate the Holy Spirit, such as exercising oneโs spirit through prayer. He said that Christians need to nurture their spiritual lives through prayer because we are called to pray always and everywhere. He further explained that the Spirit moves through sound; therefore, worship songs should not be taken lightly, as they also help activate our spiritual lives.
